this house is surely a dream. Everything is very neccessary!!! not too loud but just the perfect amount of smooth. i can truly see myself and fam living in this homely home. love it x3!!!

It's a really beautiful house and I love the stone work. The only serious drawback is the awful, weak landscaping in the front. There are a lot of drought-resistant options that are lush and more appealing than what's there now. But, the new owners can take care of that.
Good grief. Every house they build in Encino and the Valley is just like these. It's either this type of modern or a modern farmhouse. For the love of God, some builders and architects in the Valley build some Georgians, Italian villas, or French homes. You always do a good job on your tours Darren.
Lot of new construction going to happen in the Palisades. Quite a change from modest mid century to all new. Maybe 1/3 will sell the bare lot and the rest will rebuild themselves.
One of the first homes in CA I like.... but they have a govt problem which keeps me from moving there... getting taxed like crazy and the govt fails you hard... insurance is going to be high and not sure if this home is located in an area where I can pump in water to... is this location a safer location than the rest of LA? May have to get something similar built in GA, TX, or TN... very nice and may cost less in those locations... LOL
Obviously, beautiful. But, for a home this large, I would not want my dining room and living room so close to the front door. Also, more garage space is needed…twice as much. Back yard is the favorite here, but those neighbors are too close for this price point. 🤘🏻🇺🇸
what is it with California and the word "BBQ"? Not particularly in this instance but it's a grill, not a BBQ. Is it because people in Cali only grill BBQ? must be pretty bad since nobody sells it.

It’s a big box house! How many neighborhood homes built in the 1940’s did you tear down just to put up that empty soulless box that doesn’t even fit in with all the other homes in the neighborhood. Oh, I guess you’d figure in the next decade or so you would just buy up the other homes and put in more boxes. Encino was created by Civic engineers who designed a neighborhood with schools and lawns and a garagegarage at the side of the house so when you got out of your car, you can wave to your neighbor. Or a home with a front lawn *not behind a wall* where parents could stand and watch the kids out in the street and play. But now you put a big McBox behind some wall and used silver Neutra font for the address. Real neighborhoods went up in flames, and the other neighborhoods are being destroyed by builders with open floor plans .. oh how new and modern! .. wow an open floorplan… So while I watched real neighborhoods being destroyed .. I suddenly feel very protective of other neighborhoods that are still here. And watching greedy builders, and greedy tasteless realtors slowly kill neighborhoods in another way. I’m all for capitalism. I understand people want these homes but you’re putting a $6 million home in a neighborhood of $1.5 million ranches.
