My Echolution is one of the finest pedals I own. There is something about it where it makes the sound sit nicely in a band. Most delays kind of "smoosh up" the sound. Echolution gives the notes a presence almost similar to what the old Roland Dimension D did to a sound. Pigtronix is happening!!!
Wow very impressed. If I didn't already have the Timeline on my board this would absolutely be a consideration. Sounds like it does some very nice, unique (and musical) stuff. If the price were a little lower I would consider keeping my Timeline and getting this as well.
This pedal seems to be amazing, pretty much what I've been looking for to build walls of sound. The only two let down are: there's no display for the delay time and it doesn't have a looper.
I like the solo fattener and was hoping to use the settings button I don't understand the settings. Why are none of the LEDs lit - Short, Med, Long that is? Also, no tap tempo light. Perhaps it is just the lighting?
Different pedals IMO, the Moog`s tone is spot on and it is really powerful, especially when combined with CV controllers or other Moogerfoogers, you get some never thought before sound that can`t get elsewhere. But the echolution 2`s features are as deep as an ocean, and easier to control/tweak than a timeline. Personal thought, play with the Moog first. Have fun!
Hey Yu Yeung I loved the sound of my Timeline, but since I sometimes just use amp OD and, when playing really quiet, I use pedals and the Timeline's settings just wouldn't work for both! I went back to the new version of the Nova Delay and the A/D/A buffer still compresses the sound. I will look at both the Moog and Pigtronix if they are easier!
At :13.10 You say the pedal & envelope can be assigned to multiple functions with individual ranges. Wondering if you have used the software cause I don't see that in the manual and there is no software manual ? ( I downloaded the software but it won't open without Echolution connected). Thanks !
Hello good afternoon! always accompanied your posts and I have learned a lot! but I have a very big question! I bought a Pigtronix Echolution Deluxe 2, and an Actition 8 foot foot controller, I really wish I could use them together ... but I can't synchronize them. Please could you help me with this question ?! I await your contact! thank you very much! hug
The biggest issue I've had with adding ANYTHING Pigtronix on my board is their use of plastic plugs for connecting on the pedalboard. And users have frequently stated those plugs are the only thing that goes on the pedals. :(
Michael Eber I have an Echolution2D as well as 7 other Pigtronix pedals and have not had a single issue with the jacks. I'm not exactly gentle with my gear, either xD They are very robust IMO.
Hi - Trying to verify what you say at 13:20 . "With the software multiple functions can be assigned to expression (pedal or envelope) with a different range for each parameter " and also "the envelope can have a different sensitivity and release per parameter" I can't find a separate manual for the software , but the owners manual on p.14 makes it sound like there is only one assignment at a time . could you clarify that ? Can more than one assignment exist in a preset ?
Oh - No no multiple assignments with different ranges - What about the envelope sensitivity and release - I don't see that in the manual either. Is there a separate manual for the software ?
PrymaxeVintage You're right - Got one and the software has no provision for envelope control of multiple parameters with individual sensitivity and release time. I emailed Pigtronix to see if there is an update with those features in the works, and they said the capability is there " in theory, not in practice ". Sounds amazing though - and it is very useful to have envelope as well as pedal control of the one parameter.
Hi there, 1_Somebody knows if the modulations on the E2D are completely analog, so that the choruses, flagers, vibratos and tremolos in the modulation side are analog? 2_When using as a chorus (for example) in the modulation side, can be used alongside the delay side? Or when using as a chorus the Time and Repeats knobs are for controling the chorus side? Realy good demos!!!
Vladimir Luchansky 1_ Are you sure? It´s said that it´s analog tone shaping and filtering... 2_ There are videos where modulation is used without delay, so...
If you want to use this to make a chorus effect you would just use the modulation on a super short delay that’s what chorus is - the modulation it self is analog filtering but the actual double note is a digital recreation - the pedal makes the secondary repeats digitally but modulates and sound filters analog if that makes sense
I'm getting "An exception of class RuntimeException was not handled. The application must shut down." every time I try to open the software with the pedal plugged in via USB.... can anybody help, I'm very new to this kind of thing.
Hello friends Prymaxe! Good Morning! please could i ask a favor ?! I have a PigtronixEcholution Deluxe Delay pedal ... and for some time I bought an 8-pin Actition Foot Controller foot controller so I can explore more delays in our pedal! but I can not program our pedal! We already followed the instructions in the Pigtronix manual and I was unsuccessful! I searched for videos to have more information and nothing! when I press the up button the number that appears is "1-0-7" and the manual says it should have "1-2-7" and that's not it, please I need your help ... because our pedal It's wonderful and the foot controller is very expensive and I can't use them together! please! I appreciate your attention!

I'm going to wash this in reverb and fall asleep to this tonight.

That's exactly what I'm thinking.....
Echolutions are some of the better delays!

I really liked it. I bought two days ago the Moogerfooger 104M and I'm not sure if I need/want 2 delays on my board, but damn I want it! :3

How works the preset choise using the footswitch? Can you access all the prests using that? AWESOME pedal btw
So I guess thisn could nail Pat Metheny's tone in 'Hejira' when he was playing with Joni Mitchell?
I have an Eventide but I want this >.< Damn it!

Umm... hmmm. I am fairly certain this is alien technology. Amazing in the truest sense.

I guess this is the answer to all the Strymon's and Eventides out there on peoples pedal boards. I might give this one a try.
I highly recommend it. New personal favorite

This is siccccccccccccck. Phew
Thanks! It's my favorite delay. So fun and sounds so good

Mike, I know that you use Timeline ...witch one is easier to dail-in in live situation ?

compare with timeline. which better?..
Mike sorry if this is too personal of a question but how much weight have you loss? I'm struggling since I quit smoking.
Primaxevintage, nice job... Can you review the Ultra Pro 2 please

1. That's all digital.
2. You can't use modulation without delay.

What on earth happened on preset 8 is that a fault?

Can this do 24/96 digital pure repetition of your input signal?
+Eric sin sinner I answer myself since I got one and sold it NO NO HELL NO
Are you still as sold on this?
Its awesome!
Thanks man!
My only real concern is the preset situation in a live gig... people seem quite confused...
2:05 Flesh!
does anybody have the editor and would like to share it?----
it sounds beautiful and is completely badass... but I'm never going to get it with that price tag and because I just don't need alllllll that delay
The Sound is so good. The extras are very musical and useful. I put this on my board right away. it's fantastic

I traded this in for a Boss sy300. Sold that. Tried to buy this back but they went up in price. But I'm ok. Really.
