      1. When loaded, villagers have a random start of the GolemLastSeenSensor that runs every 200 ticks.
It checks the MOBS memory and if there is golem in it, it will remember the GOLEM_DETECTED_RECENTLY memory, which lasts 600 ticks.
Since the sensor can run right before the golem teleport through portal (portals are a good way to get rid of them in a short period of time, but some farmers don't like it since it loads and unloads chunks. but that's no problem if you don't unload the chunk while the farm is running heheboii wait for my VUAIF to release. it is going to be laggy so i should focus on lag optimization and also maybe try remove toggle states in 100gt clock but anyways,) that is a pain in the neck for iron farmers (or at least me 😀).
      2. Villagers loves the pillow part of the bed that they can't sleep if it's not right next to them.
      3. im short but not short like that much not that short but short

Maybe you could show some examples of the difference between player inputs (levers, buttons) and timed inputs (repeaters, pistons, dispensers)
Something that comes to mind is something RaysWorks did early in his ProtoSky series.
He needed to grow a nether tree without it undoing the nylium block, and so the way he did it was by, after growing the tree, having the logs conduct a signal and instantly push down the nylium block so it wouldn’t be covered by the log. The specific thing with this though is that if you just bonemealed the mushroom by hand there would be a chance that the nylium would stay under the log for a gametick, but by using a dispenser instead it times it perfectly with the game and makes it work every time.
It’s not super significant but it’s one of the things that have stuck with me.

    • @ncolyer

actually due to changes with update order that instant retraction trick doesn't work anymore

ok time to find a use for as many of these as i can (plus my own facts for part 3)
14: as it turns out i actually used shrub to dead bush conversion literally yesterday, i discovered that by using block transmutation on grass to get shrubs you can get dead bushes in superflat (which was previously impossible)
19: i've seen this used before, you can use it to blow up large areas in a single tick by doing it to multiple tnt at the same time
20: ok then what is it
21: yes it is useful i have another reason not to use the minecraft subreddit
23: while this itself isn't useful, the fact that some properties aren't stored in nbt and therefore are lost when reloading or going through portals can be quite useful sometimes
26: ...this sounds pretty useful to know for farms?
33: i don't eat cooked beef i eat cooked pork and golden carrots. checkmate masa this is useful because it's an item i won't have in my hand accidentally like sticks when i break dead bushes
35: this absolutely has to have a use i just don't know what it is. onlycarts tnt minecart world eater soon™
41: scaffolding probably isn't useful but if i remember correctly you can use the same thing but with dripstone to make an automatic dripstone farm builder. though it would be very slow
46: i don't know any better but that sounds like it's why cart yeeters work well
here are my own facts for part 3:
    - muddy mangrove roots have a higher blast resistance than any other block that saplings can be placed on
    - an efficiency 5 golden pickaxe with haste 2 is only 0.8 mining speed away from being able to instantly mine concrete
    - unlike other tools, shears will lose durability even when breaking blocks that can be instantly broken by hand and don't require shears to obtain
    - if maxEntityCramming is set to 1, any entity riding another entity will start to take cramming damage and die. this includes riding boats and minecarts
    - honeycomb blocks are the hardest movable block with no designated tool to break them
    - when vexes start to die after being around for too long, the damage they take is internally counted as starving damage
    - frogs have a base damage of 10.0, the fourth highest in the game
    - if an enderman tries to teleport into a solid block ceiling, they will teleport an arbitrary distance downward, even onto waterlogged blocks, which they normally can't teleport to
    and last but not least
    - mobs usually don't like to pathfind near dangerous blocks, like magma, but powder snow overrides that for some reason, so if there are two paths near dangerous blocks, and one is made of powder snow, they always prefer to walk on powder snow. even if the powder snow path is longer. silly mobs! what are you doing
