I’m just exhausted with this game. Tired of my time being continually disrespected
Yeah, feeling the same. The grind is just tedious now with the awful pack weight and frustrating dupes which are way to prevalent this time around. Having Milestones giving out crappy TIFOs which I'm never going to use rather than packs which would help. To wildly overpriced SBCs to "My packs" which are so called rewards given to us for coming back to the game only to slap a £200k coin price on it.
If you want a change, don't buy eafc 25.
Just dont spend money on the game, pay to win . People buy because they are garbage you dont need coins to do good if your good

Even if you buy packs with coins, people watching are using the results as justification to go spend money, even if that’s not your intention. People who would normally never spend money see you pack mbappe and think, well I know I have a chance so maybe just 50 dollars one time, and the cycle repeats it’s self. I think promoting the store in general needs to be avoided because it just creates temptation and fomo and people end up caving in and spending. Ea don’t even need to market or try to sell their new packs, because streamers do it for them for free.

Brother i just deleted the game, i grinded champs to 14 wins and got nothing same with PL and Bundes champs, got Donnaruma and Golovin. I’m grinding elite rivals and nothing. I just cannot take the disrespect from EA anymore.
? You got 2 good cards! Honestly the fifa community is like a kindergarten, everyone wants the same shiny toy. I have enjoyed this years game more than any since 10-11(I’m a fut founder) I play ONLY with sentimental squads and are having a ton of fun using different players,formations and so forth. The moment you step out from the meta and accept to loose more often you will probably end up having a lot more fun.

EA is just arrogant at this point in time cause they don’t have any competition for a football video game. If we just have another decent football game that can compete with this company. The community wouldn’t be as toxic as it is rn for general players playing the game as well as streamers.
Fifa said they were going to make a game but idk what happened. The issue is new games will struggle to get the rights to use real team names and likeness of players. Remember how pro evo couldnt use it for ages, just makes it way harder to market the game

Content creators - if you’re reading this, we need you. We don’t need you to quit or go somewhere else, in fact, we probably need you in this community more than ever. Don’t buy store packs, don’t SharePlay store packs, and don’t promote them. Make it a point. Make them have to change something in order to keep our business.
Btw, are ligue 1 tots even in packs? Haven't packed a single decent one. The women from D1 seem to be even more rare.

Hi Nate, I'm from Belgium, since a few years our Belgian government has set a law on gambling and micro transactions (like the late night roulette games on tv etc) as a result we can't buy fifa points anymore, also COD mobile falls under this because they also make use of a lot of microtransactions. I think the best way to do something is setting up an organisation against gambling and microtransactions, go to your government and show them how these kind of transactions are the same as illegal gambling. And show how people are getting affected buy this (maybe as far as they loose their mortgage) basically let your government make it illegal to sell coins or points

The UI of the game is a decade old. We are all essentially playing an iteration of the game that came out ten years ago - with even worse core mechanics - watching, streaming, and haplessly grinding away at nothing. I do not know another gaming community on Planet Earth that would be willing to put up with this level of mediocrity.

The ui this year is something else and is still having issues
yeah, the UI is outdated for years now - you can feel the server state in the UI, when its laggy and delayed, the server are too - the gameplay is another thing, a suprise package.
What's most frustrating is how EA deliberately make it so you don't get good players. Champs rewards have been horrible for years, EA didn't fix it. But with just a push of a key on a keyboard rewards changes. It feels like you don't have any pack luck, you just a pawn in EA chess game. Keep speaking up Nate. Thanks
FUT was at its best when it was focused on being fun. Low lvl cards like 82 Agbonlahor would be affordable and beasts, so you had a lot of options when it came to squad building.
The old tournaments where you win 4 games and win 10K and you could keep replaying meant you could enjoy the game if you didn’t spend money and if you wanted to spend that was your choice. Now it’s just pay to win where ridiculous amounts of money is being spent.
Whats worse for a Content Creator… pissing off EA or pissing off their Viewers/Subscribers? Me personally, im getting more pissed off with some Content Creators who are showing their true colours and I unsubscribed with 5 yesterday due to ignorance or attitude towards these problems. I think some CC loyalties are going to cost them long term and are not realising this.

Hey Nate, I side with your stance and commend you for focusing on offering trading tips and advice on how to play the game without spending money. We understand this is your livelihood and will continue supporting you on the streams. Hopefully the efforts will help teach everybody, especially kids and newcomers, that spending is not necessary at all to have a decent experience.
A few tips/ideas I have that may have a small but noticeable effect:
-Place a message or banner on the livestream that reminds people that only accounts without FC Points will be accepted for sharing.
-Reminders about free objective cards to complete to help the squad. This may not help everyone…but definitely for any newcomer or person who took a break. They provide a quick way to get positions up to the curve.
-Reminders to take a break from playing if the game is getting to stressful. Or to try other games that are not from EA as a break.

I understand Nate’s overall job in this game. But the fact that this game has shit gameplay is what makes the trading aspect useless because all those hours spent on menus and the transfer market is wasted when you find out that 92-96 red picks are garbage after 3-5 games. At this point, you might as well become an actual day trader in stocks and ACTUALLY make money.
I’m not trying to come after Nate, I’m just saying that EA have driven this franchise so far to the ground that basic content creators can’t even get consistent content due to the lack of fucks given when it comes to actual quality in gameplay and fixing it.
I think creators should also pledge to ALSO make content for the next 2K (or whoever makes it) non-EA FIFA title whenever that comes.

I play UT since 2013 (FIFA since the SNES games) and we always got bugs, lags, delays and many more problems, but this year is the cherry on the cake. EA don't care, they don't need to be scared or something, cuz there is no other game like FIFA / EA FC out there and EA knows that, EA knows we all play FIFA since our childhood and we always will... the circle is real and we are a part of it. I stopped for 2 years and here I'm, back in the game, but now I just get my 7 wins, go up into Div 3 and stop playing, no WL (no time), no quali for WL, nothing else. When I feel the gameplay is shit, I quit. No time wasting anymore.

what I believe would actually unite this community is, if all the big names such as Auzio, Nick, Bateson, You, Inception, AJ3 and eveyone else whom I am forgetting(apologies) come up with a singular idea like in a common shared stream where all of their viewers can see that they are united and they stop or convey the message that they won't be spending money on FC points and won't shareplay for people who are buying and wanting to open store packs with FC points. I agree with you and many other content creators we as a fan base, as a community really want all of you to find a common ground and guys please dont spread hate to any of the content creators, but in my opinion this is what I think will hurt EA the most.

I must say (after being critical) that fair play for deciding to demonise FC Points. Leaving any share plays with users who have bought FC points is appreciated. Hopefully this sensible approach will be more amenable to streamers and more will get on board. Kudos to @nickrtfm for having the balls to start the ball rolling...
even as a game changer i appreciate you staying honest. You're not saying anything bad so i hope theres no issues in the long run, but the way you broke the finances was exceptional. only way to make change is to go F2p. they are making money so they see the formula working. but truly, its absurd
First Messi and now this.. the problems with evos it saying you already have a evolved version of the card while that’s not true… ( if you ever had a evo of the same card and quicksold it / put it in a sbc it would give you this error ) been going on for such a long time but never got patched.. to many mistakes 😔

Ok Nate I appreciate your video. Ultimately it's just sad that our love for football is in the hands of such a predatory company. They genuinely have hurt many people (often children) whether it be through the relentless pushing and peddling of gambling and store packs, or just by creating such pressure to log in every day and do objectives for fear of missing out. Combine that with greedy / lack of decency decision making (such as taking away those good red picks) and often neglected and bug filled gameplay, well we have frustration at new highs. At the end of the day I think we need the store packs to be more regulated. We need the addictive tricks they use to be lessened. We need EA to start behaving like decent human beings. I have quit the game as I have to stick to what I believe in, but I wish you all the best. 👍
They know what are they doing. They know how the brain/mind works and they do all sorts of tricks, so you comeback for every drop of dopamine the game gives to you.

Nate I’m 40 still play the game always been a gamer since I was a kid been brought up on video games, I still touch grass go gym go out with the family work full time etc but I believe the key is a balanced lifestyle, I know so many people that literally live in their bedroom on eafc spend their disposable income on fc points and it affects mental health and their future. I play 2 hours a day in the week and maybe 5 hours sat and 5 hours Sunday I grind the menus watch videos to learn moves and plays etc I’m Div 1 and an 11-14 win champs player. I trade a little and only do sbcs that fit my team and I see longevity in. I have a sick untradeable team and 4 mil liquid coins. Boycott fc points u don’t need them it’s killing the game

Since last year (FIFA 23), I've literally only spent $10 on FIFA Points.
This year I spent no money and still got 97 VVD out of an 80+pp (when prem TOTS week was out) and 96 CR7 in an 87 exchange pack yesterday!
Its very very very easy to get good players if you know the right way to grind.

I contacted my Ministry about blocking microtransactions, if they are intrested in doing this, but I havent received an answer. Nobody cares, it is a big business. The one thing that got me here was, that they dont want you to get good stuff for sacrificing your life, time and money. With one click of a button they can do it. This shows how manipulative they are, what their incentives are. In other games you buy stuff too, but younknow you give 5$ for a skin, for a gun, rifle, car or whatever. Here you give money for a casino type pack. You dont know what is inside. That is f....g shit. As for the gameplay. I was a NBA2K player. But i stopped playing because the gameplay is same for years. Zero changes. They put more emphasys on UT type mode and packs. It is the same. If you think 2K will save fifa, dont bother. They will fight with content and pack.prices, not with gameplay.
Just when I want to delete it I got blue Dembele from a pack in the season pass wasn’t even happy it because of the bug with the red picks.
from my point of view, you and Nick are the most honest and moral content creators of FC24 and you have the most non-toxic communities. At the same time, I think that many of the other creators are "addicted" to opening packages from the store and create and maintain this addiction. The only solution is that those who are moral and want to protest is for the store to be "banned" and to stop opening packs even with coins because those who see this and don't have coins will open with fcpoints. respect nate and nick.

So happy I never spent money this year on packs. I think it's likely this was my last EA FC. It costs too much time and effort to get anywhere with UT, there's no reward for that especially if you're not that good at the game like me. I've grinded so much on this market and I accept responsibility for that wastage, but having practically given up the last several weeks, I'm not missing it. Feel quite bad for your business, because you do such a brilliant job covering this game, so I hope EA listen to criticism and take steps to make this game more fun, more rewarding and less like a complete scam.
Like they say you can’t please everybody. Keep doing what you’re doing, from the time I started watching you, you’ve always been clear, you praise the game when it does something right and you call the crap when they f up. People are just at the breaking point and looking for anything to just point their frustrations at and unfortunately content creators and random people are taking the hits. Normally I spend £100/£200 every year on packs and point not a huge amount but on top of the £100 spent for the game it's still a fair amount for a game... This year I have refused to spend a single penny on points or packs this company this game is a joke the game is genuinely just not fun anymore.
I don't understand how they are allowed to essentially run an online casino with no fixed odds or returns they can just change drop rates or whatever they want whenever they want without even so much as informing the person who is basically gambling at their casino... and they do all this with no independent oversight or government rules or regulations real casinos have to follow somehow they get away with it because it's packaged as a "football game" blows my mind how it's allowed to continue and get worse year after year
Nice one Nate. A stand against fifa points / gambling with real life coins is a great starting point. If all content creators discourage this it can only be a positive thing. I do not spend real money on this game & I never will. You have my full support with this message to EA. Gameplay needs to be tackled as a separate issue.

Thank you for speaking up and actually addressing Nick's tweet. We all know every streamer's circumstances are different, but the fact that you actually responded with a thoughtful and clear statement, speaks volumes!
My two cents to the community, and as Nick has mentioned,: let's support our streamers for who they are and what they have done to make this game bearable for the last few years. I personally had my favorite streamers as my background noise during futchamps to keep me calmed during sweaty games. I appreciate these streamers for who they are more so than for the game they play. If us, as a FIFA Community, decide to support streamers like Nate through any other game/content, they would not feel the pressure they do to play a game they probably don't enjoy all the time or as much as they did before. If Nate decides to stream a different game once a week, we could all support him with the same passion so that maybe he can also take breaks from FIFA like I believe some of us do to enjoy spending time outside with friends/family.
Let's support our streamers so that their livelihood is not attached to something as negative as this game can be. Liking this video, sharing, subscribing and watching Nate's content is the easiest way to do it. Joining his streams and engaging even when the content is not EA FC related, should not be this hard. That collective effort on OUR END, as regular players, will impact positively our content creators, which in turn will have a bigger impact on EA FC 25, and that could hopefully lead to a game we can all enjoy!

I’m crippling addicted to buying fifa points and I’m 23 years old. We all need to make the change by not spending money and come together as a group to push and support eachother while not buying fifa points
Keep it going, Nate. I became a regular viewer about half a year ago, and I personally regret not knowing these contents earlier. I myself have spent quite some money on both FIFA23 (my first fifa since 11 and the first I started playing online and be serious into trading). I truly love collecting my favorite players, the sbc and pack grinding, but at times I feel it's not enough, which pushed me into getting FC points on a regular basis. This doesn't improve my overall gameplay; my pack luck is also crap, and I feel so frustrated often times because of the gambling issues and my low playing skills. Even though money is not a problem at the moment, it can become seriously worse later on. In this regard, I decided to stop spending real money and try to improve my playing skills (so far, I've only managed to control the spending). One final note: regarding the game boycott movement, I personally think it would greatly increase the odds if professional players are involved in this. Of course, they get paid by the company, but amongst all of them at least one or two can endorse the movement, for better gaming experience and to stop the gambling. Peace out.

Nate the games pack weight is very bad and its on purpose so you open store packs. personally i grind the menus for fodder i am not that good at trading not that good at champs but with the fodder i gain from grinding squad battles objectives i expect sth good from sbc upgrade packs but no EA is so greedy the dont want you to have fun at all . Its all about spending money in the store in order for you to pack a decent player.

remeber qhen crafting was the meta and not store packs... i grinded last year and i havent touch much of the menus after prem tots.. sad
Please don’t buy FC 25 presale so they can feel it as a protest from the community and may be they will work on server if they feel a bit of heat.
My biggest frustration about this weekends situation is that not all players were afforded the same odds and opportunities on their rewards. I can take getting more wins than someone and getting worse picks as it's the luck of the draw. I woke up Saturday to see this issue and only got Donarumma and Medina. The night before free wins were being given away left right and centre whilst rewards were cracked. Ea should have just taken the L and left it for all players as now future champs are impacted with loads of people running Dembele, Zaire Emery and Mbappe.
I mean I wouldn’t quit if I had pulled Mbappe as well 😒, I got freaking rank 2 and got the freaking gk, and the 94 rated cf that is being constantly thrown at us.

The main problem is we are spending in fifa points. I am a jobholder & playing this game for 7 years spending 0 penny. Creates my RTG team which is weak & wins only 6 games in champs. But I never ever had spent rather I spent on my family. We need to be content what team we are making. They are whole lot of skillful players in our community so we dont need to get the top players all the time. Ea is taking this advantage from us & we need to understand that. Please stop spending 🙏

Totally agree that people should not spend money on FC points. Its never worth it. They are such a scam. It’s maybe worse then going to an actual casino! It’s far more enjoyable to do an RTG or to do trading, like yourself. if you really want to, just use coins on some store packs, if you see a pack you really want to open. Exchange packs, season progress rewards, and cup rewards have made it pretty easy to grind the game this year. The biggest thing I’ve been disappointed with EA this year, is that they’ve turned down the pack weight on promo cards so much and tried to focus so much on store packs, instead of gameplay
Tbf Nate’s got it right the ONLY way change can be made, is hitting EAs pocket directly. The single greatest way that’s possible is to not purchase FC Points. Hit their margins directly, they’ll only stand up and be counted provided their quarterly returns dip….. but they need to dip massively.
This is one of those ‘sliding doors’ moments, if we don’t collectively take it, it’ll will pass and we’ll likely not get the chance again. Here’s to hoping we can all move forward together. May the odds be in our favour 👌
