I know this is a newer post. But thank you for the video. I found a Makita exactly as you had in video. The cord was bad and I still used for a couple years. Now five years later I decided to change the cord. Your video face me the confidence to tackle the task. Thanks again. God bless.
I was just given a makita 5007nb saw. It runs good but needs a new cord and after watching your video it will help me with replacing it. I got my new cord from Grainger and will putting it on just a soon as it comes in. Thanks for the vid. Very helpful.
Great video. Watched it all the way through and then installed my own cord. I've had this saw for over 30 years and this is the third cord it has had. I had someone else do the second cord but I decided to do the thrid one. Glad I did and boy getting the housing off was the hardest part. Your video was more than clear enough to follow your instructions. Thanks
Was going to repair my cord but was not sure how. Then somethig told me to check RUclips found your video. Very helpful. You made it look easy. THANK YOU1
