Thank you sooo much! Took the exam yesterday and this video as well as the psychia drugs video helped me a lot! No results yet, I finished the exam around 5pm, but did the PVT and it gave me a good pop up so praying fervently!! 🙏
I was falling asleep while listening then Fentanyl creepy voice really freaked me out I’m not kidding!! I’m having a heart palpitation now. I thought I’m having a nightmare while the headphones are on my ear falling asleep.

What are the best responses to patients who consitently want their prn opioids but are upset because you deny to give them, their VS are low, they're more than drowsy, etc. I'm a new LPN and I feel in my gut it's not right to give more when they can barely stay awake for a minute when asking questions, BP low.

Tylenol is a strange medicine the worse the pain is the better it works. For minor pain it does nothing. For a minor surgery it is really good. It might make a difference if someone is looking forward to a surgery. My manager had a surgery on a disk in his back and didn't take anything it was instant relief for him.
Patient with advanced gastric cancer experienced increased heart rate, rapid atrial fibrillation, and difficulty breathing, a doctor from a certain hospital provides morphine treatment to alleviate the patient's pain and breathing. But the patient eventually died due to severe illness and ineffective treatment. Can the patient use morphine?

soooo if rr is lower than 12, naloxone or call RR? or is it naloxone and if treatment isn't working then call RR? That was explained two different ways.
I’ve started dating and here in Hawaii a large portion of the singles are traveling nurses and most of them use Vicodin! That’s an epidemic not being addressed!
These narcotics do not work in some people. For me aspirin works better than codeine. Celebrex or Voltaren work at least as well as morphine. I had a minor surgery on my foot where they had to take a burr off a bone. The narcotic didn't do anything. I went against the surgeon and called my GP demanding Celebrex. The Celebrex stopped all the pain. There might be a placebo effect going on. For some reason I see prescription NSAIDs as extremely powerful pain killers and narcotics as mere flower juice.
Method of delivery can make a big difference, sometimes. Morphine sulfate, taken orally, isn’t much more effective than otc Tylenol,in my opinion. But,deliver that dose INTRAVENOUSLY and you get rapid acting, noticeable relief. However,I do realize that,as individuals, reactions to medications can vary.
