You and Dave are the very definition of 'never give up'. I'm sure you knew you had produced something great and lasting when you did the album, and yet everything else seemed to go to shit for you. You didn't give in like so many do and that's really not easy when everything seems to be stacking up against you. I'm commenting with the advantage of knowing what comes next for you after you recorded this, but hearing your 'outro' comments really struck home. 'Escapades' has become a must watch for me. Even having been in many bands back in the 70's, 80's and some of the 90's, I'm learning so much about what it means to be a drummer from watching you. I'm a pretty experienced guitarist but very recently I've been bitten by the Bass bug and I'm practicing like I haven't in years to learn properly (including learning to read for the first time ever) and its the start of a journey. I'm learning what it is to have true passion from watching you. So this isn't just a little vlog, it's an inspiration. So thank you.
Hi John Joe, Playing the 100 Club is a very big deal. I go way back to the days of the late 60's/early 70's and hold the memories of I've met & who I've seen play there as very special indeed. Same goes for the old Marquee Club, 90, Wardour Street (such a special place that was!) Looking forward to seeing you play live again @ The John Peel Centre/Stowmarket in May. Onwards & Upwards! 😉

RG should be super proud of what you've achieved since Carina left the fold. It can't have been easy, on many levels. It's a shame Kiera can't join fulltime, but I'm sure the right person is just around the corner, RG are an exciting proposition for anyone! We started 2025 with some sad news that our bassist is leaving us in a few months, so we're in a similar boat - hunting for the right person to slot in. Its great you have Kiera and Dave's brother depping (we have a dep for one gig that we can't afford to cancel), but its nicer having someone committed and on the same journey as Dave and yourself. Tottie is a legend too, really supportive and seems a genuinely lovely person. RG will be alright!
