I'm amazed at how calm and put together you were during this interview. If I got to interview my idols, I'd be a complete mess but you were a complete professional and I really admire that.
Emma? I am extremely proud of you. I know it was a year ago but the fact that you got there, sitting in this chair and talking to two guys who mean so much to you, having an amazing time and talking about EPs and Fifty Shades of Grey, I am just very, very proud of you.
you're so lucky i love placebo so much how did you not just fangirl through this and stay normal? they seem really lovely and tbh this just made me love them even more
I can't say I'm really into Placebo's work outside Running Up That Hill but goodness Emma, getting to interview Placebo, especially when their your favourite band is quite something. Glad to see you enjoyed it.
I can't believe he just used the 'do what gives you a hard-on' mantra, then adapted it for lady writers by saying 'do what makes you wet'. Give that frontman a cookie!
Brian Molko is probably the best thing to come out of Dundee, along with the comic industry. (I know he was born in Belgium, but his origin as a musician is Dundee, and he considers it the place he grew up.)
I know im so late on this but congrats! I can totally relate to this moment. I not only got to meet my favorite band, Chevelle, but i got to be part of their interview and it was the best moment of my life hands down! Anyway love your videos!
EMMA! You did so great, especially for your first interview. It's so refreshing to see an interviewer who actually listens to the music, knows a lot about the band, and is also a musician herself. Well done :)
very happy , slightly proud in away ... ive been subed to emma for ages and it feels like she has accomplished all her dreams 30000 subs , meeting her fav band , and releasing her music ... its soooo great realy happy
This is a cool interview. It's really nice how it isn't strictly Q&A and it turns into a bit of a conversation and they ask you things about yourself as well.
emma im generally so happy for you. youtube has made one of your dreams come true, you can really tell how much this meant to you throughout the interview. You've made it girl, and your only going on to bigger and better things. so proud :)
Great interview, loved the idea that Emma is a huge Placebo fan and definitely the best interviews comes out from the conversations when done between great fans and the band!
I am so unbelievably jealous right now, Placebo are my all-time fav band! This is like the best opportunity ever! I just love how Brian seems interested in you and your blogging life instead of just sitting back and answering questions :)
I did like placebo before but this interview has definitely solidified my love for them, they seem like really chill guys. It's cool that Emma got to interview them when they're her favorite band.
Congratulations! I can't tell you how happy I am you got this amazing opportunity, its so nice to see a genuine deep hearted fan get to do things like this. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with presenters who are paid on a regular basis to do interviews with musicians and so on, but...its just so lovely to see real people and real fans interviewing their favourite people!
I really enjoyed this interview, great to see someone who's a musician themselves interview them. I loved that they had plenty of time to talk it was natural and more like a conversation. Great job with one of my all time favourite bands, thanks Emma :)
Even though I've never been into rock or anything like it, and I barely know of any bands, this interview (and other Emma videos) are getting me increasingly interested.
I'm so happy for you Emma, that you got to meet and interview your favourite band! Personally I've never really listened to Placebo, but I found the interview really interesting and I enjoyed watching it! :)
This is awesome Emma, great interview! Super happy for you, I know how much you love Placebo! I'm jealous they've been one of my favourite bands for a long time.
This is so surreal how different areas of media are crossing over like youtube to music especially placebo it's freakin' crazy And man I love these guys so much
Watched a lot of placebo interviews recently and can honestly say this looks like one of the few they really enjoyed 😊👍 really relaxed good banter , good connection well done
If I was in this situation I would not be able to talk. I'll be crying hysterically telling them how much I love them. I'm surprised you could contain yourself, for they are my favourite band too. Seeing Brian's face makes me S M I L E every time I come across it. Also you both have really soothing voices so yeah. Okay sorry for rambling but you truly are L U C K Y!
I love the way Placebo use to discuss their album and even their whole career. They make me get as nostalgic as them when arguing about cassettes and the process we all had to apply to rewind that tape and to slow flow of sounds, it's related to them due to the period they got popular with their first works; I might have been prouder and more fulfilled if they had released a cassette over Loud like love or likely some tunes from Meds (Song to say goodbye, Infrared, ect.). If you only have appreciated and grasped the entire rush of messages they sent off over several years you may truly avow that you're so fond of them; otherwise I mightn't be bothered of hearing anyone affirming to be a Placebo buff, it's the same approach and feeling as Muse you should stick to when you afford listening to Placebo, aka you must be willing to accept all rushed out since the day they started up. My "loud" shout is towards whoever attempted to be burnt and grabbed by those deserving guys who were the founders and the fathers of a new stream to stir rock and electronic elements flawlessly, both Muse and Placebo blended the two genres without mistakes and they never failed at getting on stage in front of thousands of people. They should be quite jittery albeit I never figured out a suspect or sort of nervous behaviour during their live performances; we're noticing their bravery and their keenness as well. I don't want you to think they got interested to music because of drugs; straightforwardly Brian stated he had been addicted to cocaine and very dark substances over his boyhood (Popkult Finland's interview) but he also said music is in his blood and when you're a musician you can get out oof that work only with a murder. The process they write is really important because it's not in the first rehearsals that you get the link between lyrics and sound, you may carry on forever by tweaking and tweaking again; therefore I would like to declare they're skilful and you guys should never be scared of rating this band. How the hell did I create such a long quote! What a great love!
Wow! Is there anything you can't turn your hand to? Comedy, music, and interviewing. You're a true Jack of all trades, Emma. Really enjoyable interview to watch, some really insightful questions and you have a great knowledge of the band :)
I could notice you we're nervous (I mean who wouldn't be meeting one of their favorite bands) but you did a really good job keeping things on track. I feel happy you! Another dream come true!
love love loved the interview/ them. Their last nugget of advice is perfect advice for anyone with any ambitions in life, so going to relate that to my art work.
Seriously wouldn't have guessed this was your first time interviewing a band. You did such a good job. Really relaxed and seemed more like a conversation then just a question answer question answer kind of thing. Would love to see you interview more bands in the future! *cough* Paramore* cough*
I've never seen someone with so much self-control. If I interviewed one of my favourite bands I would be struggling to even inhale and exhale oxygen well done Emma! :')
I got so happy watching this I got all teary, I feel silly, haha. I feel so happy for Emma, I feel like she lived that interview for me, in the sense that I could never have the opportunity she had but I have the opportunity to watch one of my favorite youtubers interview one of my favorite bands. Just asjdhaskjdkdas I'm fangirling. YOU GO, EMMA!
Emma it's so great to see your dreams come true and it's great that we can be a part of that and your such a cool interviewer! Wow, Placebo, gigs what's next? On stage with Paramore?! Xxx

brian's laugh is making me melt oh my god the cuteness ^-^
Emma? I am extremely proud of you. I know it was a year ago but the fact that you got there, sitting in this chair and talking to two guys who mean so much to you, having an amazing time and talking about EPs and Fifty Shades of Grey, I am just very, very proud of you.

they seem really lovely and tbh this just made me love them even more
I can't say I'm really into Placebo's work outside Running Up That Hill but goodness Emma, getting to interview Placebo, especially when their your favourite band is quite something. Glad to see you enjoyed it.
Placebo is like my favorite band of all time! And Brian's voice is just the most soothing voice I've ever heard!
Yuo're actually a really good interviewer Emma.. And you don't seem that nervous considering they're your favorite band, professional!!
I know im so late on this but congrats! I can totally relate to this moment. I not only got to meet my favorite band, Chevelle, but i got to be part of their interview and it was the best moment of my life hands down! Anyway love your videos!

brian's laugh omg he's so cute
I love how they asked about your channel though, they sounded genuinley interested in youtube and what you do which i think is really sweet
I didn't have much time! I did try to steer my questions to both of them but Brian's more used to answering, I guess ^_^
They are literally my favourite band in the entire world, thank you for sharing this with us! Love you and your videos :) Kisses from Rome!
This is a cool interview. It's really nice how it isn't strictly Q&A and it turns into a bit of a conversation and they ask you things about yourself as well.
emma im generally so happy for you. youtube has made one of your dreams come true, you can really tell how much this meant to you throughout the interview. You've made it girl, and your only going on to bigger and better things. so proud :)
aw thank you
Great interview, loved the idea that Emma is a huge Placebo fan and definitely the best interviews comes out from the conversations when done between great fans and the band!
she did fantastic. comfortable, conversational, but still got a lot out of them.
I am so unbelievably jealous right now, Placebo are my all-time fav band! This is like the best opportunity ever! I just love how Brian seems interested in you and your blogging life instead of just sitting back and answering questions :)
Dude! You met Placebo?! EPIC!
No, bored of this question now!
Emma is so professionally awesome in this video. yaaas!
Emma you are the luckiest person ever. Placebo are the best band in the history of the world. I'm so jealous that you got to meet them in person.

I really enjoyed this interview, great to see someone who's a musician themselves interview them. I loved that they had plenty of time to talk it was natural and more like a conversation. Great job with one of my all time favourite bands, thanks Emma :)
Throughout watching this, I could just imagine Emma just bouncing around the room incredibly happy she is interviewing these guys :D
Even though I've never been into rock or anything like it, and I barely know of any bands, this interview (and other Emma videos) are getting me increasingly interested.

I was so excited while watching the LLLTV so I can only imagine how you felt interviewing them.
Good Job for you and Placebo
Where would you get that from? Maybe when I was fourteen!
Brian's favourite word is paradoxical
It was lovely to see someone genuinely interested in the band interview them. Thank you, you did a great job and represented the fans nicely. :)
Watched a lot of placebo interviews recently and can honestly say this looks like one of the few they really enjoyed 😊👍 really relaxed good banter , good connection well done
Thank you! I came up with the questions as a genuine fan and not a journalist and I think they appreciated that and gave me the time
@@emmablackery I think that’s the key Brian always seems a lot more engaging if the interviewer is genuine 👍
