Eleanor is so precious! I can't get enough of Eleanor. All the chickens look so good, love all the babies. Yes! Your property is beautiful. God Bless ❤🙏❤
You all have such an interesting variety of chickens. It's always heartwarming to see the mamas & their babies. Silkies - -frizzles - -those names just sound like chickens children would enjoy. Looks like Honey has accepted fully Biscuit & Gravy as her pals. Hilarious, Eleanor's sense of humor regarding Zach's "dead cat" :o) Love your ducks & walking up the beautiful rolling hill to put themselves up. Lovely visit! Thank you!
I love your videos, Elenore is so sweet and has such a wonderful reaction to the animals on the farm. I love your baby chicks. I think their sweet. Elenore is so smart about names and the kind of chickens they are. She amazes me with Biscuit and Gravy. I love those goats, and the way she hugs them is sweet. I love your family.I wish you a great day, God Bless you always
Thank you! Snakes come for eggs and for rodents that may be drawn by excess or leftover feed in the coop. The best ways to keep snakes away is a secure coop with no gaps over half an inch, only feed enough food for 1 meal for your flock at a time, or remove feed at night, and to collect eggs often. We have seen a handful of snakes this year, but haven't had any in the coops in nearly 2 years until this week, where we've had 1 in a secure coop (that has a wider door gap) and in a free range nest in our open barn. We've been in a pretty extreme drought all summer and finally started getting rain in the last week, which I think has brought the snakes out in search of a good meal and some water. Snakes that like to get into chicken coops are very rarely venomous.
@@HeadFamilyFarm Woooah. lol. Okay well, at least there is a way to keep them out of the coop, I wouldn't want any surprises. Thanks for the tips I will remember this!

Wow so many chickens this is so nice. I am so afraid of doing a chicken coop because I am afraid it will draw snakes. How do you keep them out?
