IRM Steam Into Fall 2023

Autumn is here.
Today, we ventured out once again to the Illinois Railway Museum to attend the final day of regular steam engine operations for the season, aka IRM's "Steam Into Fall" event. While the weather was relatively cooler than usual, it didn't stop us from having a fun day at the museum. From seeing the 1630 handling the standard coach train, Shay 5 with the mix train, and then finishing things up with 1630 leading the photo freight. Another great end to another successful steam season at the IRM. Enjoy!

Did you film Saturday? On the webcams, I saw that 1630 wasn’t powering the train for most of the day
