Several things:
1.) This song is really good and uplifting, as well as being an absolute banger.
2.) Rhyming “human” with “doing” was unexpected and glorious.
3.) “It’s AL-RIGH-I-IGHT” was a very Regina Spektor/Tori Amos thing, and I appreciate it quite a lot.
4.) 1:31 is the moment when Elise conflated sad and mad, sadness and madness, but it’s okay because the rage was wonderfully palpable.
5.) That is all.
This song made my day even after my only friends dropped me so thank you for making me feel better

watched this when i was genuinely upset and i just have to say: thank you so much elise, oh my god. i'm struggling through such a hard time rn with sorting through my multiple mental problems and balancing everything in my life with no therapy there to guide me and with only the support of my friends to help me.
you actually convinced me to not cry too. i had tears in my eyes as i watched, but when it got to the part where you just sung about not crying, i..just didn't. i had no idea i could actually do that, but thanks for just convincing me not to cry. i really needed something like this after my life completely spiraled because of a break up.
