- This is Softbody Simulation V75.
Here is a little softbody race again. I find the balls all really cool. My favorite is of course the ball with de liquid. Unfortunately it was only second. But the liquid is just totally cool.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake while rendering. A computer could not process an image file and therefore I rendered a video for 14 hours for nothing. Very annoying. You can see the error here:

How do you imagine that exactly? Feel free to make suggestions. For water and fire, the calculation times are extremely high. I have the programs to do this but it is incredibly time consuming. The calculation of this liquid in this sphere has already taken about 5 hours. And that's really very little fluid.
Well instead of a soft body give it a hard body. And perhaps the balls can be like glass and inside it has those elements. Similar to a snow globe I guess.

With water would be no problem, with fire I'm not sure if that works in the large dimension (so over the entire length of the track). There I would have to test first whether the area (a kind of cage) can be moved with the ball. But I think the calculation time for Fire is getting too extreme. Thank you anyway for the great tip.

Thank you very much for your nice words. It's just a 3D program, but you have to spend some time with it. The problem is the huge render times, even though the video is so short, this video took about 14 hours of render time.

I wish Blender looked as good as this. How much does the software cost to make this? I need those shiny balls in my life.
I think with Blender it should also be possible to deliver such results. Blender has become really good. It still depends on the render engine. There are already many possibilities here. So to create such balls should not be a problem ;)
By the way, I'm still working with a software that was released in 2018 and not with the latest software ;)
@@C4D4U There are some soft-body simulations from Blender, but this is on another level for quality. Show us how close you can get to this with Blender, should be interesting. What software are you using please?

Can you do simulations of different materials like rock vs steel vs rubber? It's be neat to see how they bounce when dropped from a high height.
Also, can you do sticky substances? Like ones that stick to a wall when thrown at it? I'm just kind of curious how much can be done in software these days.
That sounds interesting. I have made a note of it.
You could animate everything, with the dynamic simulation it could possibly be a challenge with the sticky objects. But I'll take a closer look.

bei der Kugel mit der Flüssigkeit: da hätte es sich glaube ich gut gemacht, wenn die Flüssigkeit etwas durchscheinender wäre, die beiden in der Mitte waren aber einige der schönsten Kugeln diesen Monat
Vielen Dank für das nette Kompliment :) Das hat eine Weile gedauert, bis ich das überhaupt wieder hinbekommen habe, dass die Ränder heller sind. Dann kam mir die erleuchtende Idee und ich dachte nur: "Boahr warum ist mir das nicht vorher eingefallen" Ich hatte so viele Tests mit Verläufen gemacht, aber letztendlich was das was ganz anderes. Du hast übrigens recht. ich mag es auch etwas transparenter. Ich habe aber immer noch leichte Schwierigkeiten mit Flüssigkeiten. Was mich am meisten ärgert und wo ich nicht weiter komme ist, dass man anscheinend wirklich nur die Oberfläche verändern kann aber nicht das Volumen selbst (außer natürlich die Transparenz, Farbe etc.) Aber irgendwie nicht dieses Trübe mitten drin. Das wäre wirklich cool.

Are these simulations non-deterministic or do you give some kind of random parameters to each element?
The parameters of the elements are all identical. However, you can set some kind of dynamic noise so that not all elements react exactly the same. All elements are assigned the same settings. If the spacing of the elements becomes too large and the camera can't capture them all, I repeat the process and change the settings (the same way for all elements) until it works. This is sometimes very time consuming (especially for very long distances).
