Hades II Music - Edge of Erebus - Extended by Shadow's Wrath

It's day one of the Hades II drop. Pre-access. You've been waiting years for this. Lore, gameplay, characters you relate to, dialogue unmatched. You buy it immediately. You install and boot it up. Just like last time, straight into the gameplay. Melinoë feels a bit weird and different to control but that's fine, she's not Zagreus, that makes sense. You defeat the first few foes easily. The combat feels great. You open the next door.....and become confused, seeing armored enemies. This early? Okay, well, that's a difficulty spike. No proble--THE ARMOR TAKES FOREVER TO GET THROUGH. THE ARMOR IS THE WHOLE PROBLEM WITH THE GAME. WHY IS KNOCKBACK SO OVERPOWERED? ARTEMUS, I NEED YOU. WHY YOU NO BUFF ME? WHY IS APHRODITE THE MAIN SOURCE OF DAMAGE, THAT DOESN'T MAKE THEAMATIC SENSE. WHY IS MELENOE SO WEAK EARLY? AND THE ARMOR, AGAIN, THE ARMOR. THESE ENEMIES LIVE AND BREATHE WITH THEIR ARMOR. I DON'T WANT TO BE A COMPLAINING SCRUB BUT WHY IS EVERYTHING IN OCEANUS A GIANT HEALTH SPONGE? STILL GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING I'VE BEEN GIVEN THOUGH. BUT IT NEEDS TWEAKING.

Skill Issue. Totally. If there's a flaw, there's a counter for it. If there's no counter for it, git gudd.
_Doesn't mean I won't complain till I'm blue in the face about it. Doesn't mean I'm not incorrect either. I'll still improve as a player and later on, it probably won't be a problem anymore, but it sure as all hell is annoying right now._
