the original script is actually different from the final product, in fact you can see some of the ideas from the original script in the final battle. the battle armor and the guns were supposed to be standard armament used by the army to fight the ghosts and not something created on the spot by scientists
Having real guns usually means paying the manufacturer, it's a cost. They wanted to appeal to a larger crowd, so killing terrorists meant possibly a bigger audience. Invisibility is the last thing you want to be if you want to spread terror. It's a freak accident and not a bombing if no one can see the guy doing it.
you must be 10. when you grew up you just find that cringe. you aint create a new weapon system on the spot. thats not gonna happen. in reality you simply bomb the plan with cruise missiles then retrieve whatever is left over and reverse engeneer
I don't think "Transparent Terrorists" is an accurate description of what the antagonists were. If I remember, they were literally just people experimented on against their will, and their spirits were just angry without direction.
This movie popped up in my "you might like this" list, and I figured I'd give it a look. From the beginning scene when Clyne finds the printer cartridge in the junkpile, I was hooked. Despite having some iffy CGI, the movie is gripping, intense, and most of all, crazy smart. Extra points for having the on the ground soldiers, and eventually the general, listen to Clyne and take his ideas seriously, instead of treating him like the "nerd" who's just along for the ride. Bose-Einstein condensate, anyone?
Bose-Einstein condensate -------> In condensed matter physics, a Bose-Einstein condensate is a state of matter that is typically formed when a gas of bosons at very low densities is cooled to temperatures very close to absolute zero. Under such conditions, a large fraction of bosons occupy the lowest quantum state, at which point microscopic quantum mechanical phenomena, particularly wavefunction interference, become apparent macroscopically. A BEC is formed by cooling a gas of extremely low density to ultra-low temperatures

The film's plot was most likely influenced by the Japanese animated film The Final Fantasy. Long ago, the aliens on the entire planet were killed in fierce battles and turned into ghosts. Any lifeform that comes into contact with the alien ghosts will be killed instantly.
i love that animated film ngl. i was just really scared thinking about enemy that is capable of going through walls and take your soul out of your body by one single touch 😳
they jury rigged some insane gear god knows how but they didnt realize they couldve just make a turtle formation with bathtub made shield, ceramic spears and maybe just maybe jury rigging few ceramic bullets which would still be much much easier than what they did. overengeenering at its peak
They didn't really jerryrig per day. A lot of that gear was already there and put together. Mark initially was supposed to meet up with them to assist in tests of his new weapon systems. He tweaked what he already had ready for the army.
This movie is a hidden gem, i do recommend it, the vehicles are not a cgi which really cool, especially with the tanks which is really cool. of course the effects i think are still cgi but very well done.

This can perhaps be an ideal Min God Gameplay of SimCity. However, the new Gods of SimCity including for Min God Gameplays, are the Self-Learning Robotic Machines AI's above, aligned with the Blood Type B's Rh-Positive. They need to cover the whole Planet, Underworld inner Earth, etc, in electronic telecommunications infrastructure networking devices, eavesdrop on communications, etc., and further learn from, further develop common sense. And the main requirement for the Self-Learning Robotic Machines AI's above aligned with the Blood Type B's Rh-Positive, is to orderly end life, through humane quick and painless deaths, for this still ongoing gameplay, without using SimCity technological hacks, without further infecting the Planet with SimCity technological hacks.

I think this version is better though, the scifi makes it more interesting imo

I agree, the bad people forced the angry but poor and unwilling spirits to be weapons against their tormentors enemies.
This is one of the most under rated movies ive seen. Its fantastic
100% I was surprised that this didn't do well when it was released
I think this movie need a sequel so bad, you guys agree?
I was going to say a prequel would have worked as well. Knowing how it all started and what went wrong.
