Hi Richard! I’m from London, and I liked the twist of adding curry powder in the batter. I mist try that. Your plating is perfect as well. Yes, fish and chips is a staple food in UK, traditionally fish and chips is eaten on Fridays. And people flock on the chip shops from lunchtime till late night, and the fun thing is, pag binili namin sa shop, it’s wrapped in either Manila paper, and sometimes newspaper, and then start eating while walking home or sa loob ng sasakyan.❤😂❤😂

Please make Picadillo - the one with Sun Maid raisins. It’s a favorite childhood comfort food and I remember picadillo served on top of white rice and it’s always in the “turo turo” in my school cafeteria and later on in the workplace cafeteria turo turo. Thank you for all the nostalgia of foods we grew up with.

Goma I was worried when you tasted the raw batter at the beginning of the video, but I guess that didn't give you a stomach ache :-) It's Lent, so I'm going to try your recipe this Friday-- with garam masala as you mentioned in your video. Then Friday after next, I'll use curry in the batter just like you did. I live in the mountains of Colorado, I miss seafood so much! Thank you for sharing.
