I was actually one of the 7 Mark Masters in Petersburg that Most Excellent Don McAndrews alluded to! How cool is that? Br. Shawn McCullen Master Mason - Richmond Lodge #10 AF&AM and Petersburg Lodge #15 AF&AM Royal Arch Mason - Petersburg Union Royal Arch Chapter #7
Fascinating discussion, Companions. Greetings from Paisley Abbey Royal Arch Chapter No76, Provincial Grand Chapter of Renfrewshire, Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland.
Very nice , Donald mcAndrews is a wealth of knowledge. Many thx to tmr for theyre in-depth coverage of the history. This episode is mind blowing. Many thanks.
Good evening brethren and companions great episode I watched it years ago when it came out but decided to re-watch as a refresher and as always I learn something new every time I watch and to build on that not to go off topic but have you ever considered doing the episode on the shrine
Thank you, Brother. We are glad you have not only enjoyed the episodes but come back for refreshers. That means a lot to us. Yes, we have considered an episode on the Shrine. Again, thanks for watching.
I went through it in one day, there were 27 of us, thankfully my chapter is big on education, we have study sessions once a month, i do want to get involved in degree work, I want to learn the work
OMG when he talked about connecting two dots together, after you've been through certain things, then you really see. At any rate I will never be in the York Rite.
In Australia, we are required to be a MM for 2 years before applying to RA. That said, I did get dispensation to be advanced after 22 months. We have also gotten rid of the past master degree altogether, and the cryptic series is only available to a mason after their exaltation.
Any other Brothers admit their Masonic affiliation on anti-Masonic videos and watch the targeted audience go balastic? Current Junior Decon in my Blue Lodge but I am very interested in joining the York Rite. Excellent video
Brothers I went through with 29 and it was too much at one time. Couldn't remember the words and felt like I was dumb cause was trying to take in all the rituals. I can remember the first and last word.lol. Now trying to break it down and go slow. It's so hard to do that. Any advice on how I need to do that? thank you for this video.
How long should someone stay in just the blue lodge before they venture into RA? I understand that MM degree is needed, but should I wait till I am a past master first.
+skintrade Up to you, bro. I usually say wait a year, but at the same time I went into Royal Arch like 3 months after I was raised. Do as I say, not as I do!
Always been interested in Freemasonry but I’m not religious so I can’t join. Definitely support them any time they ask though. They do a lot of great work for the community.

Just like you can somewhat ask someone to join RAF and different name, however you have entered a degree ?/ It is worldwide and has different degrees and orders !

I'm due to do my mark. This discussion was very useful. Thank you brothers.
Had the privilege to meet Don McAndrews last year. Probably the most knowledgeable man I’ve ever met since I’ve been a mason.

Good point Juan about the mark being something that's not just shown everywhere to give someone a pat on the back.

+skintrade I was raised as an MM and waited a year before I joined the Royal Arch, But that was personal choice.
Apparently its better to master the blue then move up! Thanks for advice tho!
+se7en1976 that might be overkill in my opinion. But a year after raising ensure you've learned enough about your blue lodge first. Jon
nope

you don't have to be religious. you only have to profess a belief in a higher power, however YOU perceive it.
Edmund Lloyd I guess I don’t quite understand what that means. In what way?
