      Thanks Keith, your channel got me interested in foam cutting again and into using devFus and Wing.

    What's with the subs booming thru on your audio when the camera moves? Edit that out with an EQ using a high pass filter. Plenty of How Too's on here to do it. You have a very nice machine and setup.

    Everyone does a constant cord , short span wing.
    How about a Spitfire wing?

      Just reduce the speed of the video to 25% and you'll see how slow it actually moves.....

    Slow down a bite more the cutting speed will make the ridges flatter and disappear.

    Wow pretty fast! How high is your feedrate?

      Read the description; the video is sped up.

      Yes, you’re right! But what is the real speed?

    can you please tell us the voltage, the current and what kind of wire you used with the diameter ?

    • @bananamanyt
      @bananamanyt  2 года назад +3

      Wire is 27 gauge Rene 41. The rest varies depending on many things! Length of cutting wire, length and diameter of wire connected to the cutting wire. Cutting speed and foam type, expected kerf. For that cut, it was 1.75 Amps and 16V. For XPS foams using that wire I "mostly" set the amps somewhere between 1.5 and 2.2 and volts from 16 to 22. Test cuts determine what Amps and Volts I use before committing to a cut.

      @@bananamanyt I use Rene 41 on a Feather Cut setup. Best wire I've used for blue foam.
