  • In this video, certified prosthetists Scott Baranek and Nate Kapa from Bremer Prosthetics provide education about different options for prosthetic liners and suspension methods.
When it comes to custom, comfortable and reliable prosthetic care, prosthesis are not a one size fits all deliverable. The most important consideration with prosthesis comfort is that YOU are able to live your life as functional, and eventually more functionally than you were prior to your amputation procedure.

Piston action, get that, but you seemed to have bypassed the socket/fit. I have the pin BK - wall contact with the liner/limb is so important. Distal contact is minimal, I can not imagine bottoming out. I find this presentation confusing - from someone that has never donned a prosthetic. Do not wish to be snarky but…. Oh 14 years in, very active, accident at 60. However, I have begun to want switch to Vacuum system, due to soft tissue atrophy.

Hi Debbie and Patrick, we are located in Michigan, USA. We can only provide liners and prosthetic care for our patients in Michigan- but we do have patients who are from out of state who come to Michigan for their appointments!
