Lean into the tutorials; your teaching content is terrific. Helpful deep dives into niche areas of the MPC are rare. You can't stop now; we're all hooked.
What it do bro just wanted to say I haven’t on your video in a while but I learned so much from you and you are a good teacher if you don’t put out a video in 2025 that’s cool just want to say thank you for all Yao have gave and I pray that you get it back in full GOD BLESS YOU for every
@@jameswilson1608 i appreciate that very much. Thank you. I'll definitely make some more videos. I'm also trying to open up a second location for a pizza shop. Trying to live both dreams at the same time is like raising 2 kids. It takes time, but I gotta love both the same 💯🙏💯🎶
You showed me a killer workflow years ago of loading multiple programs to a track, setting up your mutes, and then cycling between the different programs while recording the performance. Great for genre remixing. I assume that is lost with 3.0? Thanks Poli
I would have loved if they just added disk streaming, changed audio tracks to the new MPC3 way, and made a “Convert to Arrangement” mode. Kept the MPC tracks workflow and added DAW like abilities.
Thanks for the video. We get that we can go through and erase things, it’s just that you shouldn’t have to. Whoever came up with the idea to tie all the tracks together, regardless of sequence, should be fired immediately. Nobody is taking about how it limits the audio tracks either. If all the audio is now locked to a track, regardless of sequence, well now you’re truly limited to just 8 tracks? Because previously on my Mpc X SE, each sequence gave me unique audio tracks.
I never used track mutes. I always just deleted the notes I dont want to play. Also, song mode is better to actually arrange a beat. Then convert said song to sequence then use arranger view to add vocals or whatever. Building an entire track in arrangement view is not where it's at for me. I'm not sure why everyone has such a hard time understanding song mode and stuck on building a track in arrangement view...
@@errliest Yeah, I prefer song mode, but I think a lot of new users are coming from like Fl studio and we'll probably use the copying paste once they add it. I really like the other way, but either ways fine for me
The original format is already mastered by me and i actually grew up using it starting from the MPC 60 2 the new format is cool but it should of been a plug in imo🙅♀
To me, they should have made it easier to use 🤷🏿♂️ just give me my track mutes back for song mode or make the Arrangement mode easier to use that is just my opinion.
I’ll come back to 3.0 when they make it official after the beta, it’s like going back to Maschine 2 with the Mpc 3.0. Other than that I may as well just got back to 2.0
I’m glad they evolved but looking at midi without blocks and just dots is a joke. And yes being able to actually use the arrow keys to speed up workflow is a no brainer
If I want to swap the position of multiple tracks like the first 4 moves to the middle and the middle moves to the beginning. Before those would be two sequences and I could just change the order in song mode. How do we do it now?
I'm having a problem with my mpc x, what's happening is when I turn it on it starts but before it gets to the main screen it shuts down on its own. Has this ever happen to anyone
It's the year 1807 for Akai they are so behind with the work, jezzz, It could be much better to just MUTE incase you want back. But they won't let you mute one note in piano roll nor mute, I missed my Mc 505 vs studio they are much better workflow. Mute anything, Akai only good for sampling they never improved their sequencing and recording workfliw, because no one is calling out them on it
3.0 should be a Plugin rather than an improvised software update, its just an Arranger, Akai is well late in the DAW world to be at the level as many professional DAWs 😀 .Akai moves to slow to compete 😴

There's copy and paste u have to hit shift. Grid mode shift
There's also pad mute
I'll stick with song mode. Build the sequences. Create one final sequence then I record my vocals. So easy.
@OGSeason got too!
Good video. I think people are making MPC 3.4 out to be harder than it actually is.
I kinda like it honestly.I don't use a computer so this is gonna work out really nice.I can't wait to see what the audio tracks does 🫡🎶

Is there an way to record an Arrangement in realtime?

It's not true. Have u tried it yet? Is there disk streaming and more
You just help me say that, Akai is still in 18 century with sequencing and recording workflow its a horrible shame
