I own both and love the different tones they offer. The diavlo is darker and has a bit more attack than the EVH “to my ears”. The EVH has slot of gain to work with and it a bit brighter. Overall they are solid amps

Its a highly underrated amp if you find it for the right price. I have the 40 watt combo and the 45 watt head. With an OD upfront, it blowns most amps in the 40-50 wattage range.

Best Amp I've ever had was a Eddie VanHalen signature 5150.
I got the RD45H for CAD 500 and RD40C for 180. Earlier bought a used RD100H for 700 lol.
At those prices, yes! All day but the high end is for the 100H, which means someone lost their minds at Randall
