Hi Richard that was truly outstanding video the music you put with it was fantastic well done Richard for making an outstanding video really enjoyed it, thank you so much for sharing it with us.Martyn
So glad you liked it Billy, I love the birds and they are so graceful to watch, especially in such dramatic settings as the Cairngorms and Mull. All the best R
Bird @8.02 is a male, first moult. Nice to see footage of one as I don't see them that often (high mortality rate in first year) despite the amount of time I spend watching hen harriers and they get more spectacular as they continue moulting. Thanks for creating/sharing.
Thanks very much John and for the info on the age of the bird, I totally agree and nice to see them when they are in transition to their adult plumage. It's such a shame that it's so high, always pains me to find these beautiful creatures dead! All the best R😀
Absolutely awesome Rich! The music suits the footage perfectly, & that Male HH - What a bird! I became obsessed with one on Mull last year after repeatedly seeing it in the same area (missed the closest it came to us due to driving at the time); they’re just stunning birds & on my bucket list to get footage & images of for sure. Super stuff mate. Keep on keeping on! Best, Nick
Hi Nick, nice to have you back I thought I'd lost one of my oldest subscribers there! So glad you enjoyed it, nice to do things different from time to time. They really are special birds and I really hope you get some luck when you return to Mull this year for your annual pilgrimage. You too. Rich 👍
@@RichardBirchett Just a busy guy at the minute mate, got the end of my winter SEO vlog to finish editing (video editing is my nemesis - I hate it!), started gathering footage for my barn owl project & making the most of the free time/gaps in the weather that I have to get footage & images for that & on top of that an engineer down at work so I’m out on the road more at the moment. I will catch up mate, still enjoy your content. Bear with me 👍

Absolutely beautiful, very relaxing to watch. Love harriers, probably partly due to their owl-like faces, but they are so graceful too.
Thanks very much Dee, really glad you enjoyed it, me too and one of my favourite birds. Very Owl like indeed. Cheers Rich 😀
