Let's Talk God of War, Kratos and PCs | PC/Tech Update

So I'll take a few minutes to do so here! PC/Tech version will get a version where I replace the 90 degree adaptor for my GPU with a right angle cable and go over some of the technical processes of the build. It will be posted later this week on the tech channel.

I just started playing GOW PC believe it or not, mainly because of watching your HZD and HFW vids. After finishing them I wanted something similar to play and checked out your GOW vids. 😁
I haven't been much into gaming in the last 10 years but found my love for it again because of your playthrough's. Regarding the Kratos build, it's amazing! I love building my own PC's as well but still have not tried a custom liquid cooling yet. The spinning runes is a nice touch!

Absolutely incredible build, your attention to detail and passion for the lore is so heavily refreshing as a huge GOW and Norse/Greek mythology/culture fan. A bit of extra info on the Norse alphabet stuff is that usually we do English -> Old Norse/Old Icelandic -> Elder/Younger Futhark runes. For example, "we must be better" becomes "vér skulum verða betri" which is then translated into the Elder Futhark (the runic alphabet used in the games, and most commonly in popular culture, and the one you've got there). This process is WAY more tedious since a lot of English words and terms don't directly translate, and since our knowledge of both Old Norse and both Futhark alphabets is limited. For example "we must be better" technically becomes "we shall become better" when translated to Old Norse and back again. It's a bit of a rabbit hole, but it can add another layer of authenticity to the project if you ever felt compelled to sit with it for hours (or days) lol.
Appreciate that! and also thanks for the extra tidbit about the alphabet stuff. Makes sense as I remember when I was trying to find correct translations, I didn't really find a "definitive" one.
@@SnaxanGaming Yeah it can be a pain to work through, especially for longer quotes and emotive terms. Even the scholars don't agree with each other on all of it lol. Either way, the build looks incredible!

Wow i really love this build even tho i am not pc gamer but it looks fabulous btw the love you showed for gow is happy gift for op fans like me i been fan of kratos simce 2005 and seeing a lot of people loving kratos just makes me cry 😭 so thank you so much for loving kratos since he is all alone 🥺

I love your Kratos PC, and I can't wait to see the PS5 project! Customization looks so good, I'm almost tempted to give it a go! But then I remember my lack of artistic flair, patience and creative skills🤣 I know you're not keen on spoilers, but I'm just wondering if a customized laptop might have made it into your upcoming projects pipeline? Go on, just a hint😉😃
Thank you and remember, customizing something doesn't have to be a huge thing, you can always start small! :) As for laptops...hmmm...never really thought about it!

I've never played God of War before, is the 2018 game worth playing and will I understand the story if I begin there?
Yes definitely worth playing. You don't need to understand all the earlier stuff to enjoy. In a way, it's more fun that way because if you enjoy 2018, you'll have an amazing adventure going back and discovering his previous stories.
I actually started with 2018!

I want you to build a pc for me …..made to run DCS in VR at max settings 👏🏼🙏🏼💋Love all the detail……..I’ve been with Kratos since the days where the PS2 would overheat and lock up on part B of the Aeries final fight.
I actually do a lot of commissioned builds when I have time but local only :)
Benchmarks, thermals maybe?
