And right today is my last night on vacation so I am feeling a little blue so this is perfect timing to make the evening more sweet with a ton of high level sports content with good commentary :D So excited to relive this decathlon especially because it's often hard to really comprehensively and fully follow a multi discipline-event live because it stretches out over a long time of the day and if you go to work it's hard to keep up in an extensive manner so this is finally the full experience !
That 400m by Ashton was one of the most fantastic performances of any Track and field event. to run a 45 seconds after the 1st day of the decathlon is amazing.
so many who wanted only to see the faster runners. But this guys are also fast but slower by seconds only against Bolt but these guys are playing 10 events- 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash long jump, high jump shot put, discuss throw, javelin throw and marathon I can not remember the rest.
What the commentator was speaking about- using the first false start to gain an edge- is exactly why I say they shouldn’t be afforded a false start. It should be the same “one and you’re done” rule in order to prevent these types of unsporting games.
