- The Mission (known as The Mission UK in the United States[1]) were a gothic rock band formed in 1986 from the splinters of the freshly-dissolved rock band The Sisters of Mercy.
The band was started by frontman Wayne Hussey and bassist Craig Adams (both from the Sisters of Mercy), soon adding drummer Mick Brown (Red Lorry Yellow Lorry) and guitarist Simon Hinkler (Artery and Pulp). Aside from Hussey, the line-up has changed several times during the years. - Видеоклипы
"Sisters were fortunate to ever have the talent that is Wayne Hussey" to quote Mr. Eldritch
The Mission straight-up kick ass. All the remixes are very well done too. Good work.
I can't stop listening to this song.
EPIC!
...Que versión más auténtica....Temazooo!!
SUPERB...
This version is called Wasteland (Musketeer Mix)
GOOD ♫.....ThanKs !
Un corte épico, The Mission se traduce como una contundente banda.
great! thanks!!!

j'arrive plus à respirer sans me sentir coupable !!! je me sent si seule mince
Ive been searching for the original studio version that fits in iphone plantform - here - were removed
Sorry Wayne so much better live, massive fan at Rock City Notts
Agreed, this isn't my favourite version. Even in 2020, the standard version is better live. Awesome band.
deep kind of song I would do a heist with
@marekgothfather very true, can't argue with that...
Were? Are :)
Wasn't this a re-release they did in about 93? That is definately Wayne singing.
They've never had anyone other than Wayne as the lead singer.
@Glastaco Did you just try to burn me over an extra period while forgetting capitalization and punctuation entirely?
Odd. This kinda sounds like a version that was on a "Millennium sampler" released on Cleopatra Records in 2000, but it doesn't sound like Wayne Hussey singing.
If it on the Internet it's not "rare.".
please i need buterfly on wheel studio version
of the resurrection cd 1999
@borntoloop Uh, thanks. I think.
Nunca fue The Mission
i see face in the water
i still believe in god....
....but God no longer believes in me
mmmm... no se acerca a la version original, perdio la fuerza y mistica.
All Mission records and cd's should be burnt upon discovery a.s.a.p. I went to see them on their first tour, like a fool and now if I could have the memory sliced physically out of my brain I would do, believe.
borntoloop
LOOK EVERYONE! Another bitter Sisters of Mercy fan. Deal with it princess. Wayne left because Andrew was a knob. So did Craig. It's history. Let it go. The Mission can still deliver in bucketfuls, The Sisters of Mercy are now sadly no better than a half decent pub band.
Were? No. They still ARE. Please get your facts right.
SORRY NEIGHBOURS.
@6blackfairy9TURN THE FUCKING TRIPE OFF> PICK ANY SISTERS OF MERCY SONG AND IT'LL WALK ALL OVER THIS OVERBLOWN MONSTROSITY.
Ugly version!!!
Sounds like a stupid remix...
@madfishmonger The mission were a terrible hippy/goth band that traded purely of Hussey's involvement with the Sisters of Mercy. Fucking terrible. Like all Mission stuff.
