So pretty! You really bring home how much more stunning layers make a card. Yes, your ink smooshing, but background, stencil, butterfly, die cut greeting, well, you know! It is just lovely.
Really beautiful card. I love all of the details on it- the texture from the ink smooshing, the stenciling, the beautiful leaf die cut, etc. Lovely composition & a gorgeous final result.
Beautiful card and guess who has all the things you used? I do, i do. 😉I love that you're still on the mixed media style kick. You're cards are always so fantastic.💕
Very pretty! I’m getting into smushing, lots of fun. Some have been lovely and then others not so much, but I’m learning what I like together. Thanks queen of smushing, you are an inspiration.
Gorgeous card Amy, lovely colour palette and detail. You are so good at pulling random shapes and textures and elements together to make a wonderful cohesive card. Thank you for sharing. 😘❤️
Gorgeous! Love it, I want it all! LOL (Gonna check out that etched butterfly now...) I just ordered Simon Hurly's Lunar Paste to see if it produces the kind of metallic finish Simon can create in his videos... Perhaps that will give the kind of gold finish we want...
I guess Canada has a similar date when taxes are due. I too have been so buried with work and taxes that I am just now getting to play with two card kits I have gotten this month. That gold paste is so pretty on the card.
You always amaze.....this card is stunning! One of my fav color combos is the citron color and a periwinkle/indigo. I’m so glad you used glacier paste....I have several jars of it and kinda baffled how to use it lol. They do have a beautiful yellow gold color of glacier paste and embellishment mousse called “Indian Gold”. TYFS ❤️🦋💜
I have all the colors of Glacier Paste and none are Indian Gold - there is prolly a mousse in that color but it's not the same product or finish. I've linked to several other videos I've done using Glacier Paste at the end of this video as well as in the "I" in the upper right corner throughout this video for people to check out! :) :)
Such a beautiful and elegant card. I love the butterfly. Do you ever use the Nuvo mousse? I have some and not sure how I want to use it. Any suggestions? Thank you once again for you inspirations.
I haven't used Nuvo Mousse in a really long time - I have a couple videos somewhere on my channel. You can use it pretty much like any texture paste as well as sponge it onto card stock or die cuts, can thin it out with water and paint with it too. I'm sure there's ideas from other creators out there using it! :)
Hi. I admire your technique for video tutorials. I am a paraplegic and spend a lot of time crafting for that reason and because of covid. I would like to begin a blog and RUclips videos. I wonder if you would consider helping me by sharing your set up? I am afraid of wasting money on the wrong things. Your advice would be immensely appreciated. Maybe you could do a video tutorial? P. S. LIKE YOUR STORIES. ❤️ LOVE YOUR CARDS
my set up now is very expensive (purchased bit by bit over the years) - I've been doing this for 20 years and upgraded over the years to higher end lighting, cameras etc. People wanting to start out can just use their phone/tablet/whatever works to film and there are free editing software programs out there I'm sure too. As you learn and figure out what works for you you can start upgrading if needed but I don't recommend ANYONE going out and buying equipment and whatnot right off the bat :) I'm sure there are tons of "beginner" options (videos, blog posts etc) out there that can explain better than I can. A smart phone alone does a better job than what I used in the beginning years lol
Thank you Amy. Beautiful card with great colour combination. 👏🦋🌿💕🇿🇦
