I rarely carry a prybar, but I really like the way they integrated the screwdriver. I think the bottle opener also fits 1/4 inch screwdriver bits.
It does!
See now the ruler on this really lifts its stock. Right on Mr Dicey 👏👍. Hope your rib is doing better.
I like the simple pry bar
I like it and your other pry bars. My requirements are a little different. Needs a clip to prevent it from putting a hole in my pocket. Needs to be thick enough to grip in a fist and strong enough to pry something heavier than 100 lb. think moving a large power box into a corner or smashing out a punch out hole on an electrical box. I think two #2 pencils together is the right side about and I like the finish and thickness and bevels to be something I can just sand with 320-420 sandpaper to fix anything. A hole for a screw bit is nice but I’m always wanting a longer bit shaft like a Picquic Super 8 Plus. Indispensable.
that is pretty cool. I have carried a pry bar in my chair kit for years, but last year a friend gave me a ( warning... shunned company name alert) Gerber Prybrid. it is a lot handier than I first thought it would be, and has the added bonus of having a blade I don't worry about when someone asks me for a knife to "cut something really quick". I am not giving my good knives to people that won't take care of them but the $0.02 replaceable blade is no worries.
Thanks for sharing 👍🏼😊
I like the simple pry bars. Wrenches and drivers are a bit gimmicky to me, but they're hard to avoid at this point, especially on Kickstarter. The Sidekick looks a bit short to get any real use as a pry tool. I currently use a Trayvax Keydex for my keys, which has a steel pry bar built on and a Victorinox Pioneer Alox which is decent at prying (both are also a bit short). I'll pick up a titanium pry bar when one catches my eye.
Kinda works 😁
The only pocket prybar I've ever gotten my money's worth out of was a Steve Rice thing from Bladeforums. It was $20, very simple, and most importantly it's easily replaceable. I beat the crap out of it because I could, and that's exactly what it was meant for: taking the beating that your knife doesn't deserve.
Is there a magnet to hold the bit into the driver hole?
Sure is!
Where can we found compatible bits ?
Man, B wears some short……short Daisy Duke looking shorts! 👍🏻
I carry a small Gerber prybar-bottle cap lifter. I want a new one so I’m waiting for a “Jeffree Star” version. 😂 A fancy one.
Tryin for a smile Brian! 🤣
Still looks bulky when up against say the NiteIze DooHickey. DooHickey doesn't have the driver bits but otherwise has the functional areas covered in a smaller, cheaper, much more lightweight tool. Doesn't need a pocket clip and is about the size of a key -- fits on a keyring. Sorry Slicey. This one that you've been trying out doesn't cover it for me. But still dig your reviews & comments.
Fifth pocket.
You could put your weed in there!
