Our pediatrician told us that as soon as the babies can roll, all you can do is keep the cribs clear of danger. They're going to sleep however their little selves want to. You're doing awesome!
I can turn my baby over a million times a night she ALWAYS ends up on her tummy, butt in the air. ALWAYS. We just keep the crib clear and let her do her thing.
Almost all the babies I dealt with slept on their tummies
I am old. Back in 1973 when my son was born we were told to put them on their stomachs to sleep.
The first night I brought my daughter home after burping she and putting her on her back to sleep she started to choke some more spit up after 30 minutes of sleeping on her back. After that I could only put her on her side. Now that she knows how to roll she’ll roll into her back and put her arms up. So I have a pillow to keep her a bit levitated where she can spit up and not choke on it

I think it's hilarious how Luna is more high-maintenance than her brother. A true diva.
I feel like all girl babies are like that. My niece is still like that and she's 3 years old. My 4 month old is VERY high maintenance.

I think some of us could tell that she'd be like this from their Post-birth Intro vid, LOL 🤣. Some say boy children tend to be more energetic & tricky(I believe that) but some girl children are just Special(like My Sister).

I have 4 kids, they all slept on their stomachs, all the time when they were babies and they are all alive 😆. Their ages now are 35, 30, 27 and 24. No brain damage, no emotional trauma, they are perfect 👌Proud of you both for doing your thing!
I've 3 lionesses: 20, 17 & 13yo. From the day 1 till now all of them sleep in their stomach. Till today they're "perfect"! well always fighting for something between them ,🙄 but it is what it is😉My husband use to joke "well, that's what you got when u mix races"😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Sending all my love💞🥰💞🥰

Those of us who did put our babies on their stomachs me being one of them age 34 39 27 22 21 are alive by the grace and of God .not the case for my nephew who died from aids at 3months.yes I am a teacher assistant and we had to go to SIDS training and yes newborn to the time they turn over on their own,they are more likely to turn themselves back over but when they younger they cant. So put them on their back. But all this info is on u tube and talk with your pediatrician for best info for yourself.

Also, in Korea, it’s pretty common to put babies to sleep on their stomach. So people shouldn’t question how you parent. They’re so cute! They’re growing so fast.
Most Asians let their babies sleep on their tummy because we don't have that problem of SIDS like other countries do.

@@oltzkizze345 You do, it's just not reported the same way and rates will be different due to other factors. Having paid maternity leave will lower the rate of sids because parents are less stressed and better rested and will catch issues faster. Hard mattresses also lover the rate because babies are less likely to get their faces stuck in the mattress and harder mattresses are more popular in many Asian countries. If you look at historic trends you can see that modernization has had a giant effect in reducing infant mortality. If we look back to 1990 SKorea had an infant mortality rate of 13.508 vs Canada with 6.938. Current numbers have Canada at 4.055 vs SKorea at 1.859. SKorea currently provides a lot more support to parents which, along with better parent education, leads to lower infant mortality rates.

I’ll say she wore wigs a lot while she’s in Korea since it’s hard to find salons that handle our type of hair so she keeps it in protective styles while sleeping and washing and co washing when she has too and again protective styles Wigs and braids will help protect the hair and keep it growing

My son had a birth mark like that on his tummy when he was born and it slowly went away by the time he was 3. I wonder if Rubin's is like that. Hemangiomas are collections of abnormal blood vessels that can form anywhere in the body. Two percent to five percent of babies are born with a hemangioma or develop one within the first two months of life. Sometimes called “strawberry marks,” hemangiomas involving the skin may first appear as small red bumps or patches. They tend to grow rapidly for the first year and then slowly shrink over time without treatment. Most hemangiomas leave little trace by 5-10 years of age.
That’s very interesting. I have a friend who’s baby has a “port wine stain”, and she had laser treatments to keep the area supple and soft because it could get thicker and more uncomfortable over the years. I wonder how it is for little Rubin.

Girl tummy sleeping is okay! My tummy sleeper is now 31 yrs old, smart as a whip, doing just great! Babies necks are stronger than you think! And it helps them pass gas if they have tummy troubles, which all of mine did (lactose intol) also, laying them on their backs makes for a very FLAT head (not attractive!) & They can spit up and choke. Love those little babies Ms Megan & Mr Moon! You do know your daughter's name is Moon Moon right? Love y'all!🌺💜🤗

I absolutely love how Mr. Moon holds the babies! He is a pro now. It's so important to know how to safely hold a baby so they feel loved and protected. Mr. Moon gets 150 points. Above and beyond. He restores my faith that men can learn to be good fathers.

I really don’t wanna be this person but I work at a daycare and we’re trained to leave nothing in the crib. I know it sounds so unlikely, but blankets can be extremely hazardous. They have been the cause of suffocation before. I’m not criticizing, just wanted to share that just in case you guys weren’t aware of this (bc I know I definitely didn’t know it until I went through training) ♥️😭

Been busy with my own set of twins and haven’t had time to watch any videos lately but man, time flies mama! My own boy/girl twins are almost 11 months and let me tell you as they’ve gotten older sooo many more things to look forward too! Their first teeth, starting solids and if your kiddos are like mines, my son decided to start walking at 9 1/2 months 😩 sissy is almost ready too, she just needs a bit more confidence and learn to let go of holding on to things. You got this!
You're so lucky with the babies' sleep! Mine woke up every 2-4 hours until she was 13 months 😭 I had to be sick from work for a month at one point, because I only got 2.5 hours of sleep per day. Now, at 19 months, she's able to sleep for 9 hours without waking up, sometimes, but still - SO EXHAUSTING! I think me and my husband would already have our house hinished is she slept 10 hours uninterrupted from 5 months!

My mom had all of us sleeping on our stomachs. We slept better like that for some reason. As long as the temperature in the room and the sleep outfit on the baby is enough not to need a blanket, the crib can stay clear of anything that could interfere with the baby's breathing and etc. You're both doing a wonderful job splitting the tasks and having a routine. Your babies will grow up healthy thanks to your efforts! Also, my first baby refused bottles, pacifiers, formula, and baby cereal. Even if it meant he wouldn't get to eat for 7 or 8 hours, he still chose to refuse a bottle. My sitters tried to spoon feed him, syringe feed him, sippy cups, and he would just refuse it all. He was waiting for me. Keep living the way you feel is right for you and your family!

My daughter was the same with back sleeping. When she started solids she started having major G.I. issues...unrelated to the sleeping thing but we had to have her sleep on her back elevated and we used weighted sleeper suits to keep her calm. If you're interested give it a shot.

You guys make me want to have another your family is so cute ♡ my son has also been a stomach sleeper since he was born essentially and always hated the swaddle. I tried listening to pediatricians but everyone was miserable and couldnt sleep including the baby. I just tried to prioritize more tummy time to give him and myself more confidence to know hes capable of helping himself on his stomach. You guys are doing awesome I only had one but it was so hard I cant even imagine twins and breast feeding one baby .

I’m an identical twin, 71 years old, yep. My Mom had a lot of help with her relatives raising us up until manageable. You’re blessed with a Korean hubby that stays near you & helps you out. Bc not a lot of Korean men are that helpful with their young ones. Normally alot of male into themselves being ambitious to a career. Its not easy but you got a good attitude as being far from family & adjust well being a foreigner.
