I love to watch Sig when he has a good set. You da man Sig.
*WATCHING THEM LIE BACK AN FORTH TO EACH OTHER OVER GREED NEVER CEASES TO BE ENDLESSLY HYSTERICAL.*
I remember watching this show years ago and the traps would sometimes have hundreds and hundreds of crab. Maybe different species
Yeah those are King Crab, Opilio crab (AKA snow crab) are the ones I believe that they could have 300-400 in a pot and are smaller.
Red was 50s-70s they were quite large 5-7 lbs
Where is the smooth voice of Mike Rowe?
Sig seems alot more laid back and happier nowadays. Regardless, he's always been fun to watch!
How many times have you watched the show and the first 45 minutes they struggle to find crab and then the last 15 minutes it's a f******miracle. I believe every show.
Its like watching a baseball game. 😂
It is called video editing...
Maybe quit watching? 🤷♂️
@@stevensmith8468 maybe you kiss my ass
Every time
The one tv show that didn't need any drama inputs
In the Sig Hansen segments, the clip of the first pot of both the first and second string is exactly the same. Identical footage at 3:51 and 7:26. They didn't even change the audio.
🇨🇦 i like to watch Sig
"Fishing the depressions, and the dips"?... Oh!, .. you want the greenhorn!
The only people in the world happy to catch crabs 🤣
Rest in peace Nick
I found out through Ancestry that I am 3% Norwegian. I guess I’m a crab fisherman now. Lol
Everyone from the British Isles has a bit of Norwegian in them thanks to all the marauding that the Vikings did there back in the day.
Qualifies
@@LionAndALamb not necessarily "Norwegian" but Nordic (Swede, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch, and possibly even Russian from the Duchy of Muscovy)....they all were raiders to plunder to help them develop their lands....in fact "Russia" translates to the Land of the Rus or Vikings
@@michaelkendall662 True, an important distinction. But the early Viking raids came out of modern Norway if my understanding of history is correct.
@@LionAndALamb Norway, Sweden, and Daneland
Are the seas much calmer and safer in Norway? It seems like when I used to watch this show the ocean and the weather were so scary, and all of the clips I see of the Norway fishing seem so calm by comparison
Find a way to pick up those pods
Old Footage - When does the new season start ?
What boat is Sig running?
what would happen if they DIDN'T FISH for a year ?
Never!
Is sig running 2 boats ?
Google/Deadliest Catch wiki says it was a newly converted Norwegian crab boat going into open ocean for the first time (most Norwegians crabbers fished in the fjords). Sig was there as an advisor/de facto trainer
Do they need a visa to catch crab 🦀 in another country
No. Just don't use a condem
I like to watch dirt…
They shut down the fisheries in Alaska do you think the Chinese or the Japanese we’re gonna follow those rules?
No
Say goodbye to king crab?
So best just trash everything right..? 🤦♂️
Joe Biden and every democrat does. Of course biden is owned by the ccp
Trawling for King Salmon and halibut bycatch is more realistic than this drama.
child like people.
Son cho
Did you ever consider that the "Rus-kees" might be running your pots for you. That would be my guess. Set some pots and stay there by dropping an anchor.
Doubt they have the ability to wait and not fish
@@chrisprice4373 If they stayed in the area, their radar should pick up a boat close to their stuff.
That would be a waste of time in such a large ocean. US Russian propaganda is out of control nowadays
hmm overfishing mabby?
Not likely. The quotas are there to protect the continuation.
Nice
