I really wish the platform worked as easily as you showed - I am encountering one bug after another. User sign up option not available, Can't change the demo content ( sits for over an hour and does not update ) Listings not showing information correctly. Support is frustrating to work with due to opposite time zone. These are just a couple of the issues I am facing. Seems like as soon as I correct one 4 more present. Any advice, As I really like the set up of the directory just can not seem to get it to work properly.

@@FreedomMobileDetailing I think it’s a good template. My website is app but I haven’t been very active with it and I ran into problems with a lot of fake registrations. I tried to use additional verification, but couldn’t make it work.

Really bloated theme Listing Pro and filled with issues, if you can ask for a refund and go for something like Voxel or GeoDirectory, even Directorist.

If listing don't allow Elementor for designing, you still have options: 1. Customization Options: Explore the built-in customization options provided by the listing theme. While they may not offer the same level of flexibility as Elementor, you can still tweak layouts, colors, and styles to some extent. 2. Child Theme Customization: Consider creating a child theme and adding custom CSS or PHP code to modify the appearance and functionality of the listing pages. This requires some coding knowledge but allows for greater customization. 3. Custom Development: If none of the above options suffice, you may need to consider hiring a developer to create custom templates or functionalities tailored to your specific requirements.

I was thinking they should have this possibility with Elementor. 🙂 I am more interested to optimize the spaces and dimensions on everypage, for Desktop and also for Mobile. Is it possible to make an ad part of a price plan? For instance they select the premium plan and get all of the features of a premium plan plus placement on the featured listings and top of the search.
Id like to clear something up re creating listings: If you have a recurring subscription that you would like to carry on recurring, when creating your pricing plans, leave the box 'Duration (In days)' blank. From the video above I assumed I had to input 30 in that duration section for it to recur, however what this actually does is set that someone's listing will ONLY last 30 days. It then expires and removes them which is obviously the opposite of what we are likely to want. Great video btw, Very thorough! Really helped me a lot. Do you perhaps know if it is possible for a business to set more than one location for itself? Like if a physio works from two different locations?
Great catch! Leave "Duration" blank for recurring listings to stay active with subscriptions. for the Multiple Locations: ListingPro lets you handle businesses with multiple locations. Check your settings to enable "Locations" if needed. Then create & assign locations to listings! Physio friend = happy physio friend!

Hi Darrel, thx for the good video. I bought your theme and started building my site with it. It should be a niche specific directory and i want to seo optimize the main locationpages for keyword to get some local traffic. What i want to do is adding niche and location specific content on each location page, some sentences above the listings and a bigger textblock below them. I did not find a way doing that for big amount of locationpages. Maybe i am just confused and did not see it? Or wont that be possible? Thx for your help

So I'm trying to build a website that's just for collecting data like user preferences of various products. The website displays all products in-store then uses pick their favourite and submit. very helpful video! You showed how suppliers can activate their package/listing, but if a database has been loaded from a previous website, did you show us a way to connect those listings with packages and I missed it, or is that not a thing?

I am wondering: when you were explaining the booking system (on the listing page) - can you also charge people stripe or other payment methods for the booking and than having the schedule displayed for other people to see (site is going to be for renting setvices)?

Hi Darrel! I have one more question for you and don't know if you know this one. Just like the Phone Book you can add "The Joe's Fish Bass Shop" in the yellow pages under "fishing" and also add "Joe's fish Bass shop The" under "J" in the white pages so peoples that know the name "Joes Fish Bass Shop" can find this either way. The question is how would you do this in the listingpro without doing this listing twice. I am sure Yellow Pages has a program for this. Or does ListingPro do this automatically???? I am trying to find this out for myself But!!!!!!!!working on this.
I'm ALMOST sold on this theme. My only questions is - can I have an "Events" page as my home page and then a link to a separate page that is for business listings. The theme says you can have more than one set of listing data, but just not sure if it can be on separate pages because of what you said about the search textbox being a part of the back-end - ie. you can just mess with it using Elementor. So just don't know how I can set up two seperate sets of listing data and have them on separate pages. One being home, and other being separate.
Thanks so much for this tutorial - it really is great. Just want to know if there is an option to remove the 'add listing' and 'sign in' links from the header menu. I would rather include these links in the footer. Under Appearance Settings, I already deselected 'Anyone can register' by Membership.

I am running into an error for recurring payments when I'm testing - "Sorry! A plan should have a duration for recurring paymentSorry! A plan should have a duration for recurring payment"... Is there any way around this other than giving listings a day limit (I want my listings to be unlimited duration)

Wondering was there a alternative caching plugin you went with besides Lite speed cache, My website is Lagging heavily about 7 to 10 secs to display. Certainly! In WooCommerce, you can easily disable payment gateways that you don't want to offer to your customers. Here's how: 1. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard. 2. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings. 3. Click on the "Payments" tab. 4. You'll see a list of available payment gateways. Simply toggle off the ones you don't want to use. 5. Save your changes. That's it! Now only the selected payment gateways will be available for your customers during checkout.

You ve already recommended and sad you bought it by yourself, but there is still no tutorial about it. And all i ve found on youtube about the listeo theme is not very helpful. So please, would you be so kind and produce a several hours long tutorial about the listeo theme and all of its features where you explain all the details like you ve already done here for ListingPro... Hi Darrel, thx for the good video.
I bought your theme and started building my site with it.
It should be a niche specific directory and i want to seo optimize the main locationpages for keyword to get some local traffic. What i want to do is adding niche and location specific content on each location page, some sentences above the listings and a bigger textblock below them.
I did not find a way doing that for big amount of locationpages. Maybe i am just confused and did not see it? Or wont that be possible?

Hi Darrel, I'm new to WordPress but I have made so much progress thanks to you. But currently working on something but I'm kinda stuck, I haven't been able to find any help anywhere so far. So I'm trying to build a website that's just for collecting data like user preferences of various products. The website displays all products in-store then uses pick their favourite and submit. I'm not sure how to make this website and which theme to use I'd really appreciate it if you can point me in the right direction.

very helpful video! You showed how suppliers can activate their package/listing, but if a database has been loaded from a previous website, did you show us a way to connect those listings with packages and I missed it, or is that not a thing?

He's using the hosting site. Those wordpress plans are basically hosting plans that are expensive. go through a hosting company and wordpress is free.

I am wondering: when you were explaining the booking system (on the listing page) - can you also charge people stripe or other payment methods for the booking and than having the schedule displayed for other people to see (site is going to be for renting setvices)?
the slider options under general relates to the listing banner images that scroll across the mobile page.

Lets say, you setup the whole website and Listing Pro, but later you figure out that you can't really handle the whole thing, and want to give someone else (a web developer) access to work, but you don't want him to give the whole admin power. Hi Darrel! I have one more question for you and don't know if you know this one. Just like the Phone Book you can add "The Joe's Fish Bass Shop" in the yellow pages under "fishing" and also add "Joe's fish Bass shop The" under "J" in the white pages so peoples that know the name "Joes Fish Bass Shop" can find this either way. The question is how would you do this in the listingpro without doing this listing twice. I am sure Yellow Pages has a program for this. Or does ListingPro do this automatically???? I am trying to find this out for myself But!!!!!!!!working on this.

I'm ALMOST sold on this theme. My only questions is - can I have an "Events" page as my home page and then a link to a separate page that is for business listings. The theme says you can have more than one set of listing data, but just not sure if it can be on separate pages because of what you said about the search textbox being a part of the back-end - ie. you can just mess with it using Elementor. So just don't know how I can set up two seperate sets of listing data and have them on separate pages. One being home, and other being separate.
2 weeks and no reply. So is this theme dead?

Thanks so much for this tutorial - it really is great. Just want to know if there is an option to remove the 'add listing' and 'sign in' links from the header menu. I would rather include these links in the footer. Under Appearance Settings, I already deselected 'Anyone can register' by Membership.

I am running into an error for recurring payments when I'm testing - "Sorry! A plan should have a duration for recurring paymentSorry! A plan should have a duration for recurring payment"... Is there any way around this other than giving listings a day limit (I want my listings to be unlimited duration)

Wondering was there a alternative caching plugin you went with besides Lite speed cache, My website is Lagging heavily about 7 to 10 secs to display. Thanks for the tutorial! Is there a way disable one or two of the payment gateways? Say, for instance, that I only one to use Stripe, is there a way no to show the other two options or vice versa?
Certainly! In WooCommerce, you can easily disable payment gateways that you don't want to offer to your customers. Here's how:
1. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings.
3. Click on the "Payments" tab.
4. You'll see a list of available payment gateways. Simply toggle off the ones you don't want to use.
5. Save your changes.
That's it! Now only the selected payment gateways will be available for your customers during checkout.
