- Eric takes his son, Wyatt, and his Dad, Carl, on a Public Land hunt in Sauvie Island Wildlife Area. This is the same place Eric shot his first duck 22 years ago. The action is fast as a fresh push of mallards, wigeon, teal and pintail found the decoy spread enticing and cupped into the kill hole!

Yep it’s Sauvie Island managed by Oregon Department Fish & Wildlife. They plant food and flood it. You have to apply for drawing to get a blind. It’s a really awesome hunting opportunity.
