North Dakota Mallards! | THE GRIND S12: E5

This week on The Grind Bill meets up with Tim Noe in Leeds, ND for the first state side hunt of the 2022 season with great friend Rick Darling of North Country Guide Service. With the drought of 2021 producing mostly mature birds on this yearly hunt, Bill and Tim are anxious to see what a wet spring has done to help the puddle duck hatch. With a good mix of mallards and pintails in the area, hopes are high for a great 3 days of hunting. While Bill is in the area, he visits Delta Waterfowl headquarters to learn from a few experts about the efforts they are making to produce better nesting habitats in the prairie pothole region. He also gets to bring Hank along for the first hunt of The Grind season with some long term news about where Hank will hang his head at night.
