​EYO is a theatrical work incorporating multiple artistic mediums and elevated by the element of live singing and dance. Audience members will be immersed in an environment of symphonic Yoruba traditional music and movements.
The EYO festival is a cultural symbolism that is well inculcated in the traditions and values of the people of Lagos. Through dance, ceremonial drumming, chant, authentic costumes, and music, Eyo Adimu Orisha Play conveys the extraordinary depth and breadth of genuine Yoruba culture and brings the magnificence of the origins of African theater back to life on stage.
