Omg Nick. I’m so glad you decided to keep Smugglers. You have no idea how you have inspired us and in some cases helped to save us. I do not exaggerate. When I was in a crisis I discovered your channel. No idea why it came up. I’d never had any interest in boats. So what Jimmy was to you, you and Marianne are to some of us. Best wishes. K
I really like your boat reviews. What I love about your channel is seeing your time on your boat. You really look after it and seem to have a good bunch of pals to enjoy the time on the water. Looking forward to seeing what adventures you have on Smugglers this year!
Nothing about you is fake Nick. Just a man and his boat. You can see in your face and hear in your voice how happy and content you are out there on the sea. What a great video. What a great life. Thanks for sharing. K
Don't give up boating you are so lucky to live and cruise in a lovely part of the country ,some of us can't do it . Enjoy it for as long as you can, thanks for sharing it.
Jimmy is in Margaritaville Heaven singing his songs to all those that have passed B4 him. All those American Country Greats & many other wonderful entertainers of all genres raising a toast & singing along. 🙏🇨🇦👍
Bro...that moment at about 9.5 minutes where you just took a a moment to pan around and enjoy the scenery. I felt that in my soul for some reason today. Made me miss my Navy days out to sea. Thanks Nick!
Another great episode Nick. Every now and again I go through "it's time to sell and get off the water", especially now with a 62% hike in my mooring fees in Bristol with nothing extra to show for it. Yet that one run,one chill afternoon just sat on the boat with the music and maybe even a book and you soon remember why we do it. Keep enjoying your escape as we all do.
Well Nick, I really enjoyed that trip out with you. You are such an inspiration. Love that you love your boat, the sea and nature. Unlike a lot of folks who post videos, you always let us appreciate the sights and sounds without any rush. Thank you for introducing me to the sounds of Jimmy Buffett. Sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace. Me and my husband live in Torbay and dearly hope to own a motor cruiser one day in the not too distant future. I hope that we can meet up one of these days. In the meantime, stay happy and happy boating xx
Greatly relieved that you and Smuggler's Blues 2 will continue having adventures together, and might I add that this one was particularly visceral. Well done again, sir! I was very sad to hear that Jimmy went off to find that salt shaker at long last, but you said it perfectly well at the end of your video. We're all going to the same place, and it's really up to us to make the most of this brief interlude out here in the meantime.
I use to have a boat like yours for 20 years on the west coast of Canada and my wife and dog did the exact same thing, loved it. September was the best month as it got really quiet in all the bays and marinas we visited. Your videos bring back a lot of great boating memories, thanks Nick!
Of course this is all worth it Son. Myself and many others see you as a friend we don't have but would love TO have. You're a decent man and I know none of us are perfect but we as viewers get a real kick out of you on the boat seeing you in the Captains hat. Steady as she goes Son ...G...
Well Nick what can i say this was a pleasure to watch and you and your boat are ONE with each other and please don’t sell your boat you would be lost without it. Again thanks for taking us along with you 😊👍👍👍
So this video vs your other Smugglers Blues 2 videos... This is the authentic experience you have on the boat when you are not filming. Thank you for letting us all in to experience boating in such an authentic way. Your words at the end are so true, I haven't personally listened to Jimmy Buffett but I will start now. I watched this video at about 4am on a very hot September night. I woke up because I was too hot. I watched the majority of the video with my eyes closed listening to the music, with the water splashing in the background. I feel calm, relaxed and ready to go back to sleep. Could this be the start of a new format of video that would occasionally pop up on the Aquaholic channel?! I hope so! Thank you Nick P.S. Please keep the boat!
I remember you and Greg and Sally once saying ‘every year we think in the winter is it worth it, is it really worth the expense…but then you hit the water when the season starts and realise yes it is worth it!’ Don’t give it up Nick, your boating is giving the likes of me motivation to only just get started
Many boat owners sometimes have the idea that it is an expensive hobby and it is, if you compare the costs with the benefits. But that also applies to campers or caravans. If you have a wet summer season, like this year, it seems that you can't go out much. But when it is dry or sunny you enjoy it immensely. And a hobby can cost something, as long as you don't have to pay a living for it! We are currently having an Indian summer in the Netherlands, and I am thoroughly enjoying the boat and convertible!
Idyllic! Totally agree with your sentiments at the end there. Only here once, none of us know for how long and none of us knows what comes next....... if anything 🤘
Nick, this video is without a doubt a shining example of why we all love your channel. Life and all its troubles can be hard at times, and this particular video just makes all those troubles disappear. Thank you for all you do, awesome ❤❤❤
Seeing you out on the boat on a day like that is what made me start following your channel, it’s exactly what I’d like to do, one day 🤞 Keep on keeping on.
I think we all have moments of doubt, particularly as (in my case at least) we are rapidly heading to the wrong end of life's journey. But I'm glad you were able to rediscover what boating really means to you and have decided to keep SB2. We all enjoy sharing the obvious pleasure you have in owning her. Carpe Diem and all that.
Nick although I don't really know you and vice a versa, I want to say that if you did sell your boat, it would be a sad day for us all. I cannot speak on behalf of other people, but I enjoy seeing you have fun especially with others close to you, and even if you just went out alone all the time, I believe you still add value to the boating world. Thank you for sharing a part of your life and thank you for the stunning boat tours you do.
Another great video thank you. Hopefully you've been able to make up for a the poor summer weather this last week! I will probably never be in a position to own a boat, if you can afford to have SB2 sitting there, then keep hold, the great thing is that you know she is there waiting for when the weather clears and you have a bit of time to get out and enjoy her. Appreciate you bringing us along for the ride Nick 👍
Thanks for the ride Nick. First I'd heard about Jimmy. I have a 26' trailer sailor and thought about trading up. As I watched that Nordhavn 56' Ms g by you in the river dart I thought how big does a boat have to be before the fun factor begins to diminish. You look like you are having fun in your boat still.
Thank you Nick! I came in from a 45 hour slog this week, sat down with a G&T and watched you simply enjoy life in your wonderful smugglers blues 2! I am now relaxed! RIP Jimmy B
I have been a huge fan of Jimmy Buffett since the mid 1970's, watching this video was for me a perfect way to celebrate him. "A Pirate Looks at 40" the song that first turned me on to his music. Always enjoy your videos especially the Smugglers Blues adventures.
Great tribute. You have always said that you just need one good day on the boat to justify all the costs and tribulations. Sounds like you have just had a couple. Long may they continue
Just wanted to say thanks Nicholas, I watched your channel and it encouraged me to take the plunge and buy my boat, it’s been three years and I absolutely love it, the whole family does. I also love your videos mate. I don’t know what’s happened the last few weeks but the antidote to sadness is joy, keep Smugglers and keep the videos coming, you are appreciated!
Thanks so much for this tribute to Bubba! I was a parrotheads before there were parrotheads and spent many longggg weekends partying with Jimmy and the band back in the 70’s and 80’s in the keys and sailing around the caribbean with the guys! He was a true my fun loving life loving caring down to earth nice guy who loved entertaining people! He’d often be found sitting on a beach in the keys singing with his guitar or tied up to our sailboats and singing with us for days on end definitely partaking in those margaritas paradise burgers and coral reefer 😂🤣🦀🦜⛵️🏖️🪸🐠🤿🍔 Fins Up Bubba!
Lost my grandfather a few years ago, he was the one who not only got me into boating but also into Jimmy Buffet. I had been blessed to see Jimmy in concert a few times, and every now and then i turn on a few songs of his to bring back memories of those times with my grandfather. Jimmy will be missed, thank you for creating this video. It hit all the right spots for me :)
Nick, great tribute and heartfelt. I grew up listening to Jimmy with my folks on many road trips. His music meant enough to my family we even had a musical duo preform a few of his songs at my Moms remembrance ceremony. RIP Jimmy
I’m glad you had such a wonderful weekend Nick and thank you for your sign off, but if a lump in the throat job but a great piece of advice. Keep on smuggling the blues aye Jimmy ✌️
I love jimmy buffets music, one of my fondest memories is listening to his music while drinking a cold beer at Fort Myers beach on holiday. The hurricane took the bar away last year and jimmy goes this year, but it will always be 5 o’clock somewhere even for us landsharks, 🍻here’s to swimming with bow legged woman🍻
Thanks for taking a moment or three to give a tribute to Jimmy, may he Rest in Margaritaville with sunshine every day. A note about your 10ish minute mark, if I was privileged enough to own a boat like yours, I'd delight in taking those moments cruising at 8 or 10 knots, not a cre in the world. Keep giving us these wonderful moments.
I am a very happy owner of a galeon 500 thanks to your review of one a while ago. Being out at sea is one of the most enjoyable things to do. To just motor out a few miles, switch off the engines and take in the peace and quiet is the best medicine in these stressful times. Thank you Nick for your inspiration and dedication to boating, no matter how big the craft is.
Jimmy’s music has been my jam over 40 years. It’s lifted me up when I’ve been down and brought me joy when I’ve been sad. His songs have been the accompaniment to many of the most memorable & fun times of my life. So rest easy JB and may your lyrics and melodies continue to bring joy to the world for generations to come! 🦜🏝️🎶🎤 And thank you Nick for your tribute and your words of wisdom 🙏
Another classy video nick, thoroughly enjoyable to see the contentment in your face, well done mate and may you enjoy many more tremendous times in that beautiful boat of yours 😀👍 and the soundtrack to go with the journey was just terrific 😀 have a great week and stay safe David 👍👍
Lovely, simple video that really shows the joy of boating. Due to wife’s temporary illness we have not seen our boat for several weeks, but hopefully down next month. Keep the videos coming.
Well done Nick great vids keep on boating.. Make the most of your boating while you can and your taking us along with your enjoyment and for those of us who don't have boats. Wonderful way to spend time weather is frustrating here but knowing you have that escape is priceless actually! Keep going 👍
Thoroughly enjoyed following along on your escape weekend! Weather is always uncertain - it's just a question of taking the rough with the smooth - and who wouldn't want to be "out on the salt" anyway, as Hilaire Belloc was wont to say!!
Stunning scenery Nick, and nice tribute! I love Scotland and love living up here, but if I lived within the vicinity of the River Dart I know I’d have definitely taken the boating plunge before now. You’re very lucky living where you do. Cheers!!
Fab to see how much you enjoy your boating Nick, another inspiring video. Hi , some times out in ones boat on your own and your own type of music , is the greatest thing in life . I have sometimes thought if it all ended now ,what a way to go , been doing it for 28 years and still here touch wood . 😉😍.
Good music on a good days boating. Jonny Walker commented that Jimmy Buffets song, Margaritaville spawned so many off shoot ideas, when Jimmy passed away his wealth was $1Billion. And well deserved, good bloke.
Omg Nick. I’m so glad you decided to keep Smugglers. You have no idea how you have inspired us and in some cases helped to save us. I do not exaggerate. I dont own a boat and it's unlikely that I ever will but I love your reviews of boats and when you take us out on your boat with you.

What an aummage 👏
Something 'bout a boat. As long as Parrotheads listen to your music Jimmy, you will never be forgotten, RIP
Thanks for allowing us on board for another great weekend...
I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Though the singers gone, his song lives on. Rest in Peace Jimmy Buffet.
Don't give up boating you are so lucky to live and cruise in a lovely part of the country ,some of us can't do it . Enjoy it for as long as you can, thanks for sharing it.
You look so blissful when you open up Smugglers on the open sea!

22 minutes of absolute joy. Thank you Nick
Nothing (almost) is more enjoyable than being out on the water, although I must admit I prefer to be enjoying it with a friend.

Good boat....good boat, please remind us of make and model, specs, etc, again. Just lovely days on the water.
I think Jimmy would have loved this video just as much as I did 😀 Thank you for a nice relaxing time 😃
I hope so 🙂
Rest in peace Jimmy! His talents will be missed!

That is truly beautiful land you live in Nick...just beautiful and as a former boater thanks for the boat ride, I enjoyed that very much.
A fantastic tribute to an amazing talent👍👍Well done Nick, thank you. RIP Jimmy.
Sir Nick, I believe that I shall save this video, for watching this fall and winter...it will let me know brighter times are ahead, with Aquaholic!!!
Another great video Nick and inspirational words.
Love everything you do. M
Hope to see you at FLIBS😎👍
Loved part two of this trip too. Felt quite emotional 🥲. The sheer pleasure of being out on a boat really came through. Thanks Nick
Thank you for sharing that with us Nick. ❤

Awesome footage as always. Sheer enthusiasm of boating shines through. Cant beat getting out on your own sometimes.
It’s as if Jimmy ordered up the dolphins! He’s, no doubt, looking down smiling. The perfect tribute. How he’d have loved this…
Have a Great Weekend Nick and Marianne, along with Everyone Else, and RIP Jimmy. ❤ Bob in Wales still Landlocked. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️
You and your boat, can beat it, one day I hope to have my boat too, life is simple really, just do what makes you happy 👍
Great trip and a wonderful tribute to a great artist.
Thank you😊
Thoroughly enjoyed following along on your escape weekend!
I’ve been hit with some negative health circumstances and while your boat tours are a peek into a dream I’ll most likely never realise, it’s your adventures aboard your own boat that are giving me a reason to keep positive and look ahead, through a very testing time in my life, to purchasing my own boat in the next couple of years. Thanks Nick.
Very best of luck with it. 🙂
@@AQUAHOLIC ❤️
Just seen this Nick. Don't you dare ever sell! 😂 You have given me and my husband the inspiration and confidence to get our Jeanneau Leader.
Fantastic..! 😃
I dont know why , but I didnt see you as a Parrot head. Fitting tribute to a great guy. Really enjoyed this, thank you so much.
Hi Nick. Awesome video. The Nordhavn 56 motorsailer too.(any tour) fab tribute to Jimmy. Thanks 😊
One could say, majestic 😊
Bloody love your videos Nick!
Nicely done Nick! You couldn’t send parrot-head nation off any better!
Thanks.
What a lovely morning it's going to be, starting with an Aquafrolic. :)
"Changes in latitude; changes in attitude!
Great job thank you for sharing
