I understand remaining neutral until all evidence and facts comes out, but when everything was out in the open, with receipts, he still remained neutral.

honestly i just love drama. love it when people fight each other and talk smack and people reacting to it. its just entertaining. i don't even play wuthering waves, genshin, honkai, zzz, etc... i just know of the games cause of all the drama.

@@redfoxakame i usually started watching other RUclipsr dramas like pokimaine and sniperwolfs and then one day I got recommended the atsu drama and that’s when I started to learn about the games and community. The atsu vs Tectone drama is even reaching non-gacha players lol

Legion needs to admit that drama worthy content has always been a part of RUclips nowadays. A content creator will do it and viewers will consume it either way.
Asmon, Ludwig, XQC, Moist, Mutahar all are gamers and have created their own content, but they still dabble in drama or react content nonetheless. It’s the same for the gacha community. Anyone has a power of making a channel with guides or play throughs, but don’t expect to stop the immovable force of the drama culture.

They're all in their right different in how they cover this stuff and it's not at all similar to how gacha CCS do it, the only one who covers anything serious properly is Mujin

whoever creator they may be, whether they offer a valuable perspective on the matter will still upload a drama video because it simply pulls in views or creates discussions.

Social media is most attractive to lonely, idle people. It's not surprising that drama is the most attractive and popular content because it feels like you know people to be involved in their drama. It's something to talk about.
People have always been like this, the busier you are, though, the less appealing other people's drama becomes. Gacha players are notoriously "non-busy".
It's like Judge Judy, soap operas, and trashy talk shows for the modern era.
It's really just up to each person to use the tools available to hone their experience. I was getting flooded with drama content and a few well placed "do not recommend this channel" changed everything.
I don't agree with trying to change a space that clearly is just not the part for you, though There is a wealth of every sort of content and the algorithm is actually really good if you train it intentionally.

here is my take, people love reaction content because its like a cross over event. its basically one of the only race ocation when their favorite ccs interacting with each other. other than a direct podcast. if one CC give an opinion about something, and another CC who also give ttheir take on it, but they are not in a "react video", they dont get to have their opinion be compare with each other. that is why there is a presidential debate. so they can directly challenge each other ides. rather than just talk about their own ideas without any challenge like an echo chamber.
15:00 maybe people finally realized that doing anything challenge-related in gacha is dumb and moved to games without money and timegate? The amount of challenge runs for single player games over past few years grew so insanely much that it's hard to follow

Yo V, I mostly agree with you on this. I do like drama tho, so I like having them around. I don't particularly see for example, 2 guys having disagreements in a game, "negative" since it's normal for people to do that. I think if you don't like drama content, move on to the other content, simple. However, it felt off when you called the guy "budget Tectone" when Legion himself expressed that it was offensive to call him that. I think we should stop with this joke. (I'm also guilty and have apologized to him.)
This is how I can't imagine playing videogames as a job -- you're locked into whatever the audience wants and needs for clicks and sometimes you have to put stuff out that you don't like. I'd rather just play games and end it at that.
I love the drama^^ I listen to it like a podcast during dailies and it's more enjoyable than playing story quests

People simply follow trends and what tends to show the most success. The biggest gacha streamer does reacts/drama videos, others are going to follow. Some well known stramers/yters like asmon and moistcritical doing reacts, people going to follow. Along with react content being easier than making a video from scratch, leads people towards making more react videos.
People also like being mad at stuff, of course drama videos will be more enticing.
Reaction channels have become so common and popular that other forms of media joke about people watching youtubers react to other stuff.

Its weird how most gacha cc's dont post endgame content like ToA, hologram, shiyu defense, hollow zero, illusive realm, norman war, warzone, PPC, etc on their yt account. Yall would have a better time testing out your skills and post it on Yt for your community to see. Heck, discuss the lore and worldbuilding. Do something that actually makes you put in the work and say "You know what? Im proud with this work of mine." This is the reason why I respect content creators like rexlent, jadealy, Iwintolose, Zyox and brax (even tho their jokes are cringe), Zmm, Guoba, EODGamer, Tenten, and other lore and TC cc's who actually make content ABOUT THE GAME ITSELF. No hate on VxV youre neutral, have mental integrity and level-headed unlike tectone, asian tectone, mid smack, quitashed, tectonez gaming, trashjuice gaming, etc.
Farming drama is such childs play. Any jobless and chronically online individual could do that.
People just can't quit a game without mental checking out of it aswell. Too many times do I see the communities regardless of what they play, constant comparisons and constant glazing. They forget to enjoy the game and unfortunately its always a dick measuring contest.

Holy jumpcut spam! Also, Iyo deserved it and quadrupled down. I do love his content until he layers on the condescending "you people have no idea what you're doing you can't possibly understand!" Your coverage in general is pretty fair other than the occasional insistence on interjecting into an unrelated situation. All that aside the negative edging and kara canceling is an excellent in-joke with the bonus of 'actual' fighting game players getting massively triggered. The Poke and Gachasmack reactception is real manufactured boredom without our lord and savior Tectone to keep the more interesting conversations going.

@@Notgoren Not true for me personally, I solely interact with my friends on Discord about the gacha games I enjoy. I do not partake in the larger ecosystem of the "gacha community" I prefer enjoying my games in the company of actual friends rather than with random people on the Internet

i kindda agree to him about reaction video, it's annoying, if you want to talk about someone at least don't make it into reaction kind of video, it feels like doubling your video length using other people video.
