  • The Bible tells us that Jesus gave us a NEW commandment, to love. Did Jesus replace the Old Testament laws, including the Sabbath?

Love. I have always struggled with feeling loved because my earthly parents didn’t recognize and realize that they were supposed to supply that to me as a formative and foundational aspect in my life. I didn’t grow up in the church, so when I found the SDA church and started attending at 18 years old, I started learning about love. God’s love. 2 years later I gave my life to Jesus and I’ve been a student of His love ever since, 20 years later. His love has transformed me and continues to do so. And it has helped me to love others. He replaced a heart of stone for one of flesh. And now, this love shown to me, I’m sowing in my young children. His love breaks chains, and it is revolutionary.

      ‭1 John 3:1-3 KJV‬
[1] Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. [3] And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Yeshúa never replaced any commandment, Yeshúa came to accomplish the Torah.
He was obedient to death, obedient to God and obedient to the Torah.

Honestly, I think the first time I actually felt loved ,was the day I first got baptized, which was in Prison unfortunately 😂, but when I was baptized, a overwhelming feeling came over me,a quick and really to brief a feeling like a adrenaline rush and just a happy feeling, in that moment, I really felt the love by Jesus and God our father, and a question, is it ok to get baptized more than once?I only ask, because months or possibly years later, I started to question if my first baptism was done by someone actually qualified to baptise someone, so I did it again 😊

Praise God for your beautiful testimony. I am sure that Brother Sandelin will answer your question, but I will tell you that I have been baptized twice & I believe that it is fine. I just felt convicted to be. God bless you & keep you in His loving care 🙏🏼
