Every year growing up I would look forward to singing this song at church and at Christmas I remember Wendy Groff who was blessed with a gorgeous voice singing this at church and it would always bring me to tears. I hope wherever you are Wendy you are blessed and doing well, and still using your God given gift of having an amazing voice to touch people's souls hopefully so that they to can come to know our dear Lord and Savior. Howdy. Going to church every sunday is a sin. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. 1 Corinthians 16:22. The everlasting gospel is to believe on the Lord Jesus, repent of your deeds, and keep the commandments of Jesus if you love him. We must abstain from (fornication, idolatry, blood, strangled things) the FIBS before we can say that we have turned to God. Do you love Judge Jesus the Almighty enough to respect each holy day, each new moon, and each sabbath? Colossians 2:8,16,18. Old King James Bible. Do you love the Lord Jesus enough to stop making yourself abominable, and to stop eating abominations like swine (pig/pork/bacon…), chicken, turkey, catfish, lobster, mouse, shrimp, cicada, etc? Revelation 21:8, Leviticus 11:43, Deuteronomy 14, Revelation 18:2. Now Romans 14 is clearly talking about fast days (not eating to the Lord) and the feast days of men like anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, weddings, promotions, dedications, etc. And Romans 14 also speaks about the people (biblitarian clean beast eaters) who may eat all things God said was clean, and the people who only eat herbs (herbivore vegetarians/vegans). Biblitarians are stronger, healthier and live longer than herbivores. God was the one who esteemed, blessed, sanctified, and hallowed the sabbath day. He also blesses each new moon, and holy feast day. He did NOT bless and does NOT esteem the first day sunday, turkeyday, Christmas, Easter, crossover (January 1st), Ramadan, friday, nor other heathen days. REPENT of your deeds and preach the true gospel to sinners in the streets. Jesus hates the deeds and the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes which is grace and the traditions of men. I pray that the Holy Ghost will open your eyes to the truth. Have a good residue of the year. Love others as Jesus loves you.

The Lord is worthy to be praised. He has cured me from cancer, comforted me when my mom died, and has given me the strength to keep on doing what he called me to do. I love him with all my heart. I can't wait until he raptures his church! What a glorious time we will have up there praising him! I've known this hymn since I was an infant. I lost touch. Had a career as a nurse, "too busy" to consider my most important service and neglected my children of it. I was about to retire and married a Christian Lady. As I was looking for a Church, I visited one that sang this hymn in the first service I attended. I joined that Church and now walk in my new dedication and service to my Lord, Jesus Christ. Thank You!

Praying for you and your daughter. Our daughter was diagnosed with a posterior fossa ependymoma at 18 months. We were told that she would most likely never learn to walk, talk or eat on her own after the surgeries. She just turned 6 and is in a regular kindergarten class, RUNNING around and talking up a storm. These kiddos have a direct link to Him....I pray all is well!

This is such a beautiful song!! No matter what bible you use, Jesus saves everyone, and he loves us. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" I have messed up so many times I cannot even imagine trying to judge others for their faults. We must lead with a united front and not fight among ourselves, for here we present to the world "Christians" but we really show everyone disharmony and pettiness. Think before you write!

Man you couldn't be more right. In this world, parental sacrifices are everyday incredible, selfless sacrifices that I hope to do one day for my kids (I know they're not the "be all, and end" all of sacrifices that can be made, and you're using parents to stage a point.)
