    Well done mate. I thought you would have gotten longer out of the batteries. How long until the gasifier is up and running?!

      We're trying to extend the evening range, but we're 5 adults so late afternoon early evening is our peak demand, 6kWh can be consumed pretty quickly, just ran the gasifier yesterday, some teething problems video coming, cheers

      @@whathappensintheshed have you looked into using a Power diverter from your solar to the hot water? I still believe that there are government rebates available and they could save you a heap. my project has just shifted to a stainless design so it will take a bit longer to accumulate parts. I'm looking forward to the next update on the gasifier!

      @@robertpoynton9923 no I hadn't, our hot water system is solar, but am thinking of other ways to boost it on cloudy days

      No I hadn't, was told that the battery would never pay for itself, I don't care it's not about the money as much as a more reliable energy source, did some quick numbers based on current observations and to my surprise the system should pay for itself in 6 to 7 years, that would be nice, cheers
