I look forward to these talks every Wednesday. I have learned much and, as a lifelong Catholic, it helps me to better understand and share the faith. Thank you Fr Meeks.
Thank you Fr. Meeks for helping us to truly experience this beautiful gift we have been given to be in His holy church. Your teaching helps a lot. May God Bless you always!!!
Your talks are an absolute gift. Thank you!!! May God continue to bless you and keep you, Father. And may we all remember to lift up and pray for all of our holy priests everywhere!
Father Meeks, we believers need to be regular reminded of the essence of the Eucharist. Thank you for the clarity of your teaching. It does me so much good.
Thanks once again Fr. Meeks. Once we understand the mass and the reality that we are truly receiving the Body and Blood of Jesus, we cannot but be transformed from within. My prayer each time I attend the Holy sacrifice of the Mass is: "Lord it is wonderful for us to be here"...how incredible and mind blowing to realise what God has done for us...he allows Himself to be present in the simplicity of a little host...how ironic that satanists know this, stealing hosts from churches, yet so many catholics don't know or remain indifferent. God bless you fr. Meeks from Ireland.
When I converted, I had a hard time understanding the true presence. I prayed and asked God to help me. He sent me a dream. We were in morning mass in the chapel. The priest took the host and put it in his mouth. He then waved us all to come forward to the altar. As we did he opened his mouth and blood poured from his mouth. It was so vivid. I never doubted again. Thanks be to God.
Thank you Father, and thanks to the internet for allowing me to see this wonderful message all the way to Ireland. I can really visualise the event in my mind. I love going to the shrine in knock County Mayo. It speaks volumes although it was the silent apparition.
Thank you Father Meeks for your insightful explanation of the Holy Eucharist! One of the best I've ever heard! You are truly inspired by the Holy Spirit!! God bless you! Looking forward to your next episode! ❤🙏
Thank you so very much for your weekly messages …I miss listening to your Sunday homilies, but I am truly great full for your weekly classes. God Bless you for always speaking of and teaching then truth.
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary, for those who don't no explanation will suffice. I encourage those who don't, to spend an hour in Adoration at the Blessed Sacrament. You will lose your doubt in that beautiful experience.
Dear Fr Edward, thank you for your beautiful way of explaining, the most Holy sacrament of the eucarist, gifted to us by God ,so clearly. May we all take on board your explanation and share with all our brothers and sisters in christ.
As always, thank you Fr Meeks for this insightful message. I believe in GOD. It is an act of FAITH. I believe in the “Transubstantiation”, it is an act of FAITH. JESUS says is “good enough for me”🙏🏻🕊✝️🕊🕊
Scripture is "integrated", priest, sacrifice, lamb, Old Testament, New Testament, Covenant! Imagery, forms, actions, history, Spiritual and Human, God with us, eternally!
Could you Father Meeks do a session to explain the rest of the mass including why we stand, kneel, or sit? Thank you so much for teaching us the faith.
If we believe that the Mass is the greatest prayer possible’s and we believe in the true presence and we believe in the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic qualities of our Church, why do we not include a petition at every Mass across the country to “Save America under God and indivisible”. We pray for natural disaster victims, warring nations, Vague references to Church and secular leadership, even last Sunday pet owners(!!!), yet the greatest country on earth is all but dead, and we never pray anything like, “Heavenly Father, please save America. We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ”. ( from the Rosary Novena to Save America, Pope Pius the Fifth and Our Lady of Victory) ? Imagine the Power of that petition at every Mass across America every day until we get America back under God and indivisible!
I attended Mass at my local Catholic Church last Friday. As a lukewarm Protestant on a journey to fully embrace my faith I am finding myself drawn to Catholicism but have much to learn. As I watched the Eucharist I was confused as only the body of Christ was given to the congregation with only the Priest drinking the blood. Is this unusual? I would appreciate any help and prayers. Thank you.
Here in the US it is customary, in most places, to receive under both species, however, most of the rest of the world receives the Sacred Host, which is the norm. When you receive the consecrated bread, you are receiving the resurrected Christ, which contains His whole precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. So don't be confused, you are getting the Rea Deal even in the most minute particle, He is contained Whole. Blessings and may yhe Holy Spirit continue to guide you in your journey, welcome home brother
You’re being drawn to a false religion. We are saved by grace through faith and not works. Catholicism teaches there’s works you must do; attend church, receive the sacraments, and so many more rules and rituals you must follow. I was raised Catholic and after many years of trying to live by their rules I finally gave up in exasperation. I have been born again since and found freedom in Christ through accepting the only thing needed for salvation; to believe that Jesus died for my sins, was buried and rose from the dead.
Sure appreciate you FR meek's . Saturday October 30 the priest opined during his homily that all must participate in the wine. Perhaps you can do a show and correct this error being taught in a homily in Minnesota Marxist state.
The evidence shows this err is part of the rushing flood that undermines the foundation of belief in the real presence. Perhaps you are failing in giving the whole story. My faith and mind live in John Chapter 6. all the answered are there-in.. Please respond if you cannot rap your mind around this
As an old Anglican, I try to listen to the explanation of “true presence”. However, I find my normally strong stomach doing somersaults as it sounds like cannibalism and the drinking of blood. Jesus seemed very literal when He was explaining it to the apostles but I need more insight.
Maybe watch Matt, Ken and Kenny CHNetwork. They were Protestant. A musician (?) a Foursquare minister and I think another minister/pastor. I found the explanations/ discussion interesting (sometimes funny) and how they overcame various views/ beliefs. Enjoy your watching. Peace be with you. Keep safe in these troubling times. 🙏🏻🤗
Should Fr, Meeks have stayed Anglican and NOT entered the one true faith, or should he have divorced his wife before becoming a Catholic priest? Just asking.
Fr. Meeks is to be lauded to leave behind what was not true and embracing the Truth. You can tell by his talk that he is body soul a true priest. These converts are to be respected even more because you can see their belief. He brought his whole congregation with him into the light. What a beautiful reflection onto this holy priest. He is a gem!!!
Thank you, Father. Such clear teaching on the Eucharist.🙏❤️

Yes indeed!
I wish he would speak around the country at various parishes
🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Marvellous Fr Meeks, at a time when it's hard to receive the Eucharist on the tongue, even to genuflect in respect to the host is frowned apon! ✌️🙏
Perhaps you need to find another parish…God bless you for doing those things though. It is the only way to receive our Lord. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@lauraski2858 Thanks Laura! 🙏

I lived in California for 50 years. I NEVER heard a Homily about the Real Presence, NEVER!
I Bridget iliohan vote no no no no at the synod can you please give it for me to pope Francis and the bishops thank you in Christ Jesus amen
I have lost 5, 6, 7, 8, I will try and find them. They are too informative to go without
I've opened a library for all Fr Meeks pod casts, for that reason; they're informing, and great to refer to! 🙏✌️
You haven't lost them. Go to your list of prescriptions, the whole list is there

@@sharonthompson8061 thank you. Learning is a lifelong process.

Celibacy is a discipline, not an absolute. Some of the apostles had wives.
Thank you Father.
