Beautiful performance of this incredibly difficult work. Only a musical moron would give this a thumbs-down.
I've only listened to the first few moments and I know it's going to be a great performance.
The piccolo parts are treacherous. That tambourine player means business!!! OOps, I spoke too soon. The trumpet soloist missed the high note in the solo. A beautiful and absolutlely haunting piece of music that I've known about since 1979 when I was in high school. Cheers from Texas. The piccolos didn't play the high repeated Bb's as noted in the music, but they took it down and octave in the last movement.
