Xbox: a sickly green, mechanical complex(?) without end that’s completely silent save for the occasional otherworldly muttering in the background. Wii: the Shop Channel theme. That is all. PS3: more normal than the other four, but it’s still eerily silent and lonely. The first console that decided it didn’t want to terrify us if we needed to alter the system was the Xbox 360.
