  • Statistics show that anxiety levels in young adults are at an all-time high. Why are we so anxious and what can we do about it? In this message, we explore what the Bible defines as anxiety and discuss 5 things Jesus taught on the subject.
Let's be real, life can be tough. Then, add the cherries on top of the last year being all kinds of crazy and not knowing what the future looks like, and it's hard not to freak out. But what if we told you that you don't need to?

I took notes through the sermon and thought it could help someone. This is a very basic breakdown:
    1) TRACK DOWN YOUR ANXIETY
"...Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?.." Mathew 6:25 - ESV
    - Is life not more than _____? - in order to fight anxiety you have to face what you're actually anxious about
    - Anxiety comes in form of a question, "What if...?" - we never answer the question but you need to answer the question!
"What if..." "Then I would..." "But God will..."
    2) REMEMBER GOD'S PROMISES
Isaiah 26:3 - remember who your God is and focus on Him
    -Some of God's promises: Hebrews 13, James 1, 1 Peter 2:6, Hebrews 4, Psalm 32:7
-HE will never leave nor forsake you, HE is near to the broken hearted, HE will provide for your needs, HE is enough
    3)WORRYING IS USELESS
"I struggle with control" - You've never had control and never will
    - God is in control
    4) SEEK GOD'S KINGDOM
Mathew 6:33 - seek God's kingdom and surrender yours
    - God's agenda/will/reign comes first
-Worries/wants/desires are at the centre of your kingdom
-Putting God's kingdom/will first and not yours will provide peace
    "Your kingdom come,
    Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven" Mathew 6:33 ESV
    5) TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME
    Mathew 6:34
-Focus on one day at a time with God's will before your own
-Focus on "What if..." "Then I would...." "But God will..."
-It is an everyday challenge to fight against the troubles of the world

This was so amazing! Thank you for this sermon! I had heard anxiety sermons that always hits me, but this one REALLY made me break down my walls and cry. Cry because it helped me so much. Cry out to God during it. Hits in my current situation…

I absolutely love this! I personally have a really hard time struggling with anxiety and this was so powerful to me. I love that he said worrying about being in control is ridiculous because we aren't in control and will never be in control because God is the only one who will ever have control. Something else that really stuck out to me was the comment he made about surrendering our kingdom for his. This never occurred to me. I've always heard the comment "His plan over mine," but hearing "his kingdom over mine" was astonishing and eye-opening. God has a plan and he knows what we are destined to do in this life and he has full control and if we trust in him, we will have peace. I could talk about how much I loved this message for days but I'll leave it at this. Just so insanely powerful. So so good!!!

It is written in the five Books of Moses detailed; instructions, measurements, design, materials used and construction techniques.first the ark of the covenant which contains the Ten Commandments (Gods word) and Aaron’s budded staff.all the wonders done through the staff was the word.when the staff budded the word made flesh.next an altar, both where inside the tabernacle of the congregation, which was in the centre of the camp of the children of Israel.if we draw a plan of the camp using the measurements we get a cross.
For 40 years the children of Israel wondered around the desert in the shape of a cross.in the centre of the cross was Gods word, the word made flesh and an altar.
Please read the scripture, pray and ask the comforter for guidance.God bless you

@Ginger Berry Jesus came to set the captives free not live in anxiety. Even if you don’t think it’s demonic check if it’s demonic instead of just saying it’s not and leaving people filled with demons.
