Richard Wright deserves a mention for two injuries he suffered while at Everton. In 2003, he dislocated his shoulder by falling out of a loft. But my favourite, in 2006, he injured his ankle before a game at Chelsea by falling over a ‘don’t warm-up here’ sign during the warm-up.

Also, as an honorable mention, Adil Rami, French international exploded his blisters, while dancing "Gangnam Style". So hillarious thing, for a solid centre back, he even missed next match, recovering from that)
The Dan Burn thing is similar to what happened to a basketball player from my hometown. Gerald Green was playing basketball on a makeshift goal while wearing a ring and when he dunked the ball the ring got caught and ripped his finger off.
