Nice review. Didn't know about this game until now. Certainly looks like a cool gateway game. (Deck building with power ups reminded me of Rune Stones)
Yeah it's a nice combination of mechanics!
The marbles always have dispersed evenly in the games I’ve played but getting them to come out can be tricky.
Yes, getting the mountain to load correctly each time is a bit of an issue
BTW: Is it possible to play without the fate cards if one wants to reduce randomness?
You probably could however it may cause there to be even fewer marbles in the loader since a lot of the fate cards tend to cause the marbles to get reloaded from the pools
