I really enjoyed this video!! Potatoes are one of THE most easiest vegetables to grow and you can do it yourself on your own patch!! Find a couple of rows...get some potatoes with eyes on them and plant them!! Three or four months later you have potatoes!! I hope you kept some for yourself too eat as well after selling them!! Nice harvest of spuds! : ) I hope you didn’t miss any. Potatoes are good at hiding in a hill. Lol If you don’t like tators, there’s something wrong with you! Lol It would be interesting to see how they are prepared in your country! : ) Just a word of caution… Those potatoes that are green can be toxic and should not be eaten. Potatoes that are still on the vine but exposed to sunlight can turn green. “Tubers with a high concentration of solanine will taste bitter, and can be harmful if eaten in large quantities. To be safe, it is best to not eat the green part of tubers." You do not need to discard green potatoes. Just peel the skins, shoots and any green color; that is where the solanines concentrate.”

I second that emotion! I’ve begged Tammy to buy a garden fork and gloves for so long! She’ll regret not protecting her fingers, nails, and tendons when she is 50 years old! And she needs a hand rake to break apart the clods of earth. And waiting two more weeks until the tops turn brown indicating time to harvest; spuds will be even bigger. Hers look like Yukon potatoes. I’m sure they would make delicious French fries!
THI TAM, we’ve been waiting to see your potato harvest, and it looks great. I missed the video when you actually planted potato “eyes” down the rows. In the USA we wait until the tops of the potato plants turn brown and die off, before pulling them out. They will be bigger by 10%. #2 Please consider buying a used but nice bike, where you can mount your basket behind you and pedal your way to the market, saving time and great effort and strain on your shoulders and back. #3. Please get a garden fork to dig up potatoes and a small hand rake to dig thru the clods of earth where the potatoes are hiding. And last but not least, a decent pair of garden gloves, to save your precious hands!
