The Wolves played a damn near perfect first half of basketball and only led by 3 points. They outscored the Mavs by 36 points from three and lost the game. The Mavs were missing open shots all game long. Mavs even hit 3 or 4 more of those it’s a blowout. It’s not crazy to think the Mavs are on a higher level.

Mavs barely won game 1 and the wolves didn’t even play well. Ant & Kat didn’t play well, nor did Mike Conley. It’s in wolves court now. Wolves can make the adjustments now, the pressure is on the mavs.

@@GullyFella Wolves didn't play well because they're actually vsing a team that plays elite defense like themselves. Difference between the teams is that Dallas has better offense and better closers in Luka and Kyrie, which is why they'll win. Mavs shot 6/24 from three and still won convincingly if not for Josh Green's awful 3point foul right at the end of the game.

The game should be decided by the players, and here's why it wasn't. There were 4 or 5 phantom calls in the 1st half that helped the Mavs. No contact calls, repeatedly. And on the other end, there 3 or 4 no-calls on blatant fouls when the Wolves were trying to score.
They didn't show replays on those plays for the most part, so many didn't notice. But then all the challenges went Mavs way, too. Even the Conley call where Conley lightly tapped someone on the back with the tip of his finger and got called for an over the back foul? I couldn't believe it when the refs watched the replay of that and still called it a foul on Conley. The crowd objected so strongly that they cut the audio for a good 10 seconds on live TV.
That ridiculous decision by the refs, even after a challenge, is what set up a huge run for the Mavs, too.
Anyway I know people don't like complaining about refs but the reality is that if this game was called fairly the Timberwolves won.
