Hopefully my copy of this book arrives this week. Colin has been delightful and has responded to my emails. He has indicated he will go through his collection to see if he has enough to put together a 2nd volume of images for us to colour. The crack in the rock next to the capstone really brought that door to life, along with everything else you did :D Very delightful doors!!! I think I have to order those waterbruses now :D

Karen 💖 Those doors are old but you made them really beautiful! I love using Inktense in this book a as long as the paper isn’t flooded with excess water and you used just the right amount like you are some kind of a pro…lol I noticed you chose a page with big doors but most of this books pages are so busy with such tiny detail that I have to use a magnifying glass…lol I think someone was a chicken to work on any of the other pages…lol 😅 I’m sorry I couldn’t resist, you know I’m teasing you…lol. Very nice! Thank you for sharing. Which books do you find work well with ink and water brushes? I have the 24 count Derwent Inktense and I love them and would love to have more colors but they don't work well at all with books I've tried them in. Thanks in advance.

Thank you, I use my waterbrushes in all my books but I like the noise the wrinkled pages makes. I would recommend books with thicker pages for those who don't like wrinkled pages. Hanna Karlzon, Mouse Guard, books that are made for watercolors, or printing your pdf's on watercolor paper...

@@ZucchiniKitty I like the noise too. My problem is sometimes it looks splotchy. I've been practicing and trying different things and found I get a much better result if I remove the brush from the part that holds water once the brush is wet. I appreciate your input. Thank you!!
