Critical Role fan art! Disappeared for the last few months because I was binging the whole show haha. Future art might contain spoilers
You might notice that this painting was started in color instead of grayscale. I've been working only in grayscale for a couple of years now because I had a very bad grasp of color and how environments impacted local color, but I think I have improved a bit and plan to work in color more. It's certainly faster. If you are new to painting and can't get colors and shading right at the same time then I highly recommend working in grayscale for a while so you can focus on them one at a time. You will get less frustrated and learn faster ^_^
