And they’re really inexpensive, too. I always use Bilstein and AutoZone carries them.

You can get bilstein for $43 from fcp with lifetime warranty. They also have another brand Stabillus that is only $30

So the issue is your rear shocks are going to be hydraulic snd made by Sachs. You can use bilsten in front but you will need hydraulic or do a conversion to bilstein for rear.

@@petescarport I removed the hydraulic shocks and just threw some bilsteins in, car is lower in the back now. I have another s500 that I kept the hydraulics in and I don't really notice much of a difference. Are the springs too soft or stiff because of the swap? Or do you just mean the hydraulic system loop you need to do?

i swapped my hydraulics with bilsteins, it lowered the car enough to where I just needed new springs in the front. It is on 18"s and it is maybe 3.5" off the ground and the wheels tuck nicely into the fenders.

@@Shred72 yes I haven’t done a swap but plan to. I was hoping I could just cap off the lines but wasn’t sure if you needed to use anything to trick system. Seems like a simple system. Please fill me in on what’s needed. I would love to make a video since so many people ask about this
