I had to look up what a “tucker box” is, lol. I love the dog molds, but I’m SO excited for the little bowls. It’s SO CUTE! A perfect little ring dish to keep by the sink or on a nightstand. (Or on a craft table for when you have to remove your rings while working with clay, lol) There’s just so much potential in that tiny bowl!
If you like the “big landmarks in Australia, and you ever decide to make a trip to Canada, come to Alberta we have a bunch of similar ones (they were centenary projects from Canada’s centennial in the 60’s), such sites include: The Giant Pysanka (Easter egg) in Vegreville The Big Lamp in Donalda The Flying Duck in Andrew The world’s largest Sausage in Mundare And the UFO landing pad in St Paul (du Métis) seriously we still don’t know why they chose this.
I love that you kept the large dog mold! You clearly loved it and wanted to try it and sometimes being practical and pragmatic just isn’t fun! I am so glad you are going to fire at least one and play around with it even if it isn’t the most economical mold you have! It’s all about balance in life and craft and never forgetting to find what gives us joy - and that mold clearly brought you some joy 💛 so glad it was a pass 💖
I LOVE the dogs!!! It would be so cute to see a black and white Dalmatian but with the spots being flowers or perhaps patterned blobs instead of the solid black!! and adding a bow would be adorable ☺️☺️☺️☺️
I like your choices definitely smash the angels and that’s coming from someone who collects them however maybe make your own mold of just the wings by themself I love those they could be cute Christmas ornaments or rear view mirror dangles magnets or add ons to other molds
0k,will show my age. As a kid there was a song that began with "My Mable waits for me underneath the bright blue sky, where the dog sits on the tuckerbox 9 miles from Gundagai (Slim Dusty)
That pup would be perfect for holding doggie treats or even cookies for the family of dog lovers. For colors, for a realistic dog, a black and white or brown and white put would be adorable. You could make cute markings on the forehead and bottom, tail, paws, anywhere. Hope you do one and show us what you came up with. The little dishes are adorable. People are using that size dish to hold oils for bread dipping or tea bags or so many different things. Little girls would love them for a tea set.
I am absolutely LOVING this series!!! My favourite part of the mystery moulds is that moment when you lift the two halves apart and reveal what it is so this is just that but 4 times more content!!! I love seeing all the ones that you don't like and I love it when you smash them! I'm going to be sad when this series ends.
You could also leave the lid off the big dog, make it a planter! I, personally, love little kissing angels, and with a non-fused pair, they could be made into salt and pepper shakers!
The little dish would be great for a ring bowl next to the kitchen sink when you are washing dishes. Doing the bubble technique or painting little soap bubbles or even making little bubbles on it, it’s so darn cute!
That’s so cool I didn’t know that. Why isn’t this information being shared more often. Love to see them one day too. I’d absolutely love to visit NZ I’m sure it’s such a beautiful place to live. Cheers cherieK 🦋🌈🐿🇦🇺
The giant dog cookie jar is wonderful. I could definitely see people using it as a dog treat holder for a countertop. In America we also have lots of big things and weird things too. We call them "Roadside Attractions." There are books and movies that feature many of them. Im so in love with this series and am inspired!
🐶 You made the right decision on these ones, the first big one did look to be a dog treats jar 🏺. Enjoy watching the discovery of each mould. Thank you. 😊
Those little dishes are perfect for dipping sauces, or mise en place for ingredients when you're cooking. I also have a tonne of little white ceramic dishes for paints when I'm not using my palette. Definitely glad that one passed!
2:34 This looks so much like our puppy! His name is Ringo, he’s an AussieDoodle (half Australian shepherd and half poodle), the long ears and the nubby tail are just perfect! Everyone says he’s the cutest dog they’ve ever seen (to the degree it’s hard to bring him out in public, he draws attention). I don’t know if anyone else would like it, but I know I’d have fun glazing one to look just like him! It’s been fun looking at this series, I do ceramics as well & my grandmother was into “paint your own” pottery so I’ve seen some of these molds before (she did a ton of Christmas things, like the poinsettia shaped bowl as well as one of those mugs shaped like a bunny wearing overalls for me when I was little). 🎉congratulations on your first show being such a success!
That doggy jar could absolutely be a cookie jar. My grandma had something similar when I was growing up and it so made me think of those fond memories.
Funny coincidence - today I was just looking up the origins of the word “tuck” and “tucker”. Love your work Shelby and your sense of humour and your stories. Also, dogs are awesome xxx
I love all the molds you passed on! I think the big dog would be perfect for putting dog treats in, maybe kibble, if you have a small enough dog. The little bowl would be so perfect as a little jewelry dish painted in bright florals!
I love the huge puppy jar with the butt lid! So glad you kept it. It would make a great dog biscuit jar. Love the little bowl and the small puppy jar too. I agree that the kissing angels were a smash. Always love watching your videos. Thank you!❤❤❤
We use tiny plates all the time in our household! For teabags, messy spoons while cooking, kids who don’t like food touching, sorting craft supplies like beads or pretend play/doll tea parties. They can be so versatile!
I absolutely love the dog boxes! The big one makes me think of the “Clifford the Big Red Dog” books. I’d use it in my kitchen as a cookie jar. The little one is just a precious trinket box that would look great on any table.
Such a great series! I like how you got a lot of passes on this one. Especially since you had so many smashes last time! Love the little dish! I would love a set. Each featuring a different Australian bloom
The angels⬇️, the dog on cushion should be very ornate, rich red cushion with luster accents with a cream doggie⬆️, the dish is so versatile; rings, tea bag holder, childs dish set, dipping sauce, salt tray for cooking, needs your signature touch such as a small emblem in the center⬆️, the big dog is a cookie/biscuit jar, the flat back makes it not take up so much counter space, love the idea of a Dalmatian with your watercolor flowers as the spots, or a lovely Golden Retriever ⬆️. Loving this series, Cheers from the Midwest USA. 💜
I would never have thought of a dog on the tucker box I think it's because the dog is lying down not sitting. BTW it comes from a poem. The tiny plate could make jewellery/stationary holder. You could add bees mushrooms or even do a creepy one with the hands and feet. The dog bin I'd keep and do a limited run for now. If you get a bigger kiln or could make more. Would look cute a black and white dog with a spot on his eye
Those little dishes 😍, all i could think about was them being the cutest Drawer handles/knobs in my kitchen! All painted up Shelby style 😄 And i always think those types of Angels/Cupids are super creepy, glad you smashed 😂
Speaking of big things - in WA up in the Pilbara we have a giant wheelbarrow. 😂 I loved the dog pieces and the little bowl - there’s so many possibilities for that one . ❤
Good choices for all these. I love your ideas for the tiny bowl/dish. You could also make them tea spoon rests or tea bag bowls, or sauce/mustard dishes for when you have sushi etc and need a little sauce on the side. Can't wait to see some of these recent molds brought to life!
I can see a whole set of the tiny bowls done with a native floral in the center of each one, like a "collect all 10" set type. It would look so cute in your style!
The first one you poured, the dog, is a dog-treat (biscuit) holder and would be extra adorable painted with groovy retro flower-power daisies and a butterfly or two. It could even be used as a "people-treat" biscuit or cookie holder. I know I want one on my kitchen counter. Great video!
I love tiny ceramic dishes like that! They're great for holding jewellery and things, for somewhere to put teabags/filters if you've taken a brew away from the kitchen, for dipping sauces or little pickles or things with a meal but one of my favourite uses for the slightly-too-many-of-them I have is to give myself a very fancy feeling cup of tea or coffee by putting one or two little cookies on a tiny plate with my drink :) I cannot resist a tiny plate/bowl, any time I'm somewhere with local ceramic artists selling their work I can almost never resist coming away with some kind of little dish XD
I love this mini series. I think u made the right choices. With the little dish I had an idea to possibly make a little pedestal base for it. Then it could become a fountain for a fairy garden. I don’t no if this is a viable idea coz I don’t do pottery but I do love watching it. I’m so glad I found ur channel. Also even tho I don’t work with clay I loved all ur advice about staying true to urself as an artist in ur mystery mould series so thank you so much for that. It kinda stuck with me x
Oh Shelby I want the doggy with the butt tail....ohhh ohhh I will buy it!!!!even the smashed was too cute for words... the tiny plate sweet, your reaction to the dog on the box, the tucker box was just too excitment! I can not wait to see what you do with this one. Totally my thinking of these kissing angels, and not my vibe either. Please think of me for the doggy butt tail dispenser!!
Such cute pieces this time the little dish looks a bit like a pie crust with the little ruffled edge I think it would be really cute to paint little pies!!😍
Great Choices!!! (And I'm in full agreement with you about the angels....;) Maybe the big dog is a really good excuse to get another kiln? ::grin:: He is just seriously cute. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with all of them! Thank you so much for posting, always brightens the day!!!
Thought the first one was a Doggy Treat Biscuit Jar? Really enjoying this series.
Me too, dog biscuit jar. :)
So did I! I hope she makes it into a cute cookie jar!
I was thinking dog cookie jar too
I was just thinking ”cookie jar”, but yours is even better!😍
lol glad i wasn't the only one who thought that
Watercolor artists love little ceramic dishes and the dog box is just too cute.
Yes on the ceramic dishes! As a watercolour artist:)
Tea drinkers love little bowls like that too, as do older folks with spoiled cats.
Definitely, especially in white so we can see the colors we're mixing.
I was thinking watercolor pots! 😆
Nail artists too! I have quite the small ceramic dish collection 😅
Clifford the big red dog for the large piece?! 😅
I thought that too, only with a Shelby style. Maybe Clifford had a sister... 😊
I'd have that doggy as a cookie jar rather than a bag dispenser
I love the doggie molds! Maybe for the big dog you could make it Lisa Frank inspired? I think the little bowl would make a good bee water dish.
A bee water dish is a great idea!
Oh this is a brilliant idea, that dog would be PERFECT for the Lisa Frank treatment
Omg yes a bee water dish!!
The big dog without the lid and maybe cut down a little smaller (for a bigger opening) would make a cute planter!
The little dish get to move on yay!! My first thought seeing it was a ring dish and since its so simple you can decorate it in sooo many ways!!
yes, perfect for jewelry!
It makes me think of a soy sauce plate…
Same, jewelry dish
My first thought was a pill dish😂
You 100% made the right decisions on this episode. I'd use the first one for dog treats!! So cute
the small dish would make for a great tea bag dish! And the big dog one is so interesting!
'Sorry children!' /crush/
Uncle Roger would approve
Such a royal dog on a box, would love to see it painted in a rococo colour palette!
Oh my god, yes
Love the dog molds! great choice, the angels are weird.
I had to look up what a “tucker box” is, lol.
I love the dog molds, but I’m SO excited for the little bowls. It’s SO CUTE! A perfect little ring dish to keep by the sink or on a nightstand. (Or on a craft table for when you have to remove your rings while working with clay, lol)
There’s just so much potential in that tiny bowl!
That little dish would make a great teabag dish!
If you like the “big landmarks in Australia, and you ever decide to make a trip to Canada, come to Alberta we have a bunch of similar ones (they were centenary projects from Canada’s centennial in the 60’s), such sites include:
The Giant Pysanka (Easter egg) in Vegreville
The Big Lamp in Donalda
The Flying Duck in Andrew
The world’s largest Sausage in Mundare
And
the UFO landing pad in St Paul (du Métis) seriously we still don’t know why they chose this.
These little bowls would be perfect for used teabags.
I LOVE the dogs!!! It would be so cute to see a black and white Dalmatian but with the spots being flowers or perhaps patterned blobs instead of the solid black!! and adding a bow would be adorable ☺️☺️☺️☺️
I thought dalmatian too but thought "that's too boring and not colorful enough" but omg if the spots were flowers that would be perfect!
Cute idea!!
I wonder if you have a full childs play dish set in your moulds.
Could you make a hole in between the palms of the dog and have the bags dispense from there? It'd be so wonderful!
The dog on the box !!!! Squeeeeee !! So cute. And the big dog ! Please make it 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I like the tension when you aren't sure about smashing or passing. I think those pieces will be special and bring about unexpected surprises!
The dog mold would also make a great cookie jar if you sealed it. Either way, a dalmatian would be adorable!
Keep the dogs. Big dog could be a cookie jar.
Or dog biscuit jar.
The dog ones are so cool 😄 really love this series and your studio is so beautiful 😊
The Labrador lover in me would die to see the first one the dog bag holder to be a chocolate brown labrador haha
The bag dispenser and the dog-on-a-box would make a cute set.
100% agree with your choices. Those angels are meh but those dog ones are gorgeous. The little trinket plate/bowl is also super cute.
You’re enthusiasm is infectious. Thank you!!
I love the puppy jar mold. I could see all kinds of patterns on there with dogs of all colors.
I love how so many people have different ideas of what they'd use the tiny bowl for. My first thought was a tea-strainer rest!
You can paint the little bowl with the flowers you always do and use them as a (used) Tea Bag holder
We have Big things in NZ too! The big carrot, the big gumboot, the big sheep etc.
That’s so cool I didn’t know that. Why isn’t this information being shared more often. Love to see them one day too. I’d absolutely love to visit NZ I’m sure it’s such a beautiful place to live. Cheers cherieK 🦋🌈🐿🇦🇺
Loving this series Shelby, I love the little bowl for things like hair clips. Your videos always make me smile, love your energy❤
Your new studio is such an amazing space
The giant dog cookie jar is wonderful. I could definitely see people using it as a dog treat holder for a countertop.
In America we also have lots of big things and weird things too. We call them "Roadside Attractions." There are books and movies that feature many of them.
Im so in love with this series and am inspired!
LOVE LOVE LOVE ‘The dog on the box/cushion’!! 😍
That dog bag dispenser is giving me "Clifford the Big Red Dog" vibes- I remember those books from my childhood.
This kissing angels is iconic kitch. The dog in a Tucker box is the bomb! And those little dishes! Squee!
Loved the little ceramic dish, the big dog and the little dog on a box. Very cute. I'm not much on that style of angels either.
That tiny bowl just immediately made me think of a pie crust... it'd be such a cute little cherry pie!
The tiny tray reminds me of a pie plate. That would be a fun series! Love all the pups! Those angels were creepy, good choice to smash that one.
Now I can't wait to see you paint them! 😭so adorable. You definetely made the right choices!
My daughter recently painted those exact angels! She used their dresses like a canvas and made a landscape. Different but very cute.
I’m so pleased with your decisions! I love the dog on the basket!!!! ❤

Way more success than last week!
i love watching these! they’re so addicting, i’m obsessed with the dog moulds!
I'm obsessed with this series!
I agree with the choices. Loved that little bowl, look forward to see what you do with it.
The little bowl would make a nice little ring dish! Add on a bee and paint on some native Australian flowers and it would be so cute!!
Good choices! This is the best way to start my Friday mornings! Love it!
I love all the molds you passed on! I think the big dog would be perfect for putting dog treats in, maybe kibble, if you have a small enough dog. The little bowl would be so perfect as a little jewelry dish painted in bright florals!

We use tiny plates all the time in our household! For teabags, messy spoons while cooking, kids who don’t like food touching, sorting craft supplies like beads or pretend play/doll tea parties. They can be so versatile!
That second mould would make some REALLY cute pie magnets for your fridge!! Like apple pie, peach pie, etc....
I absolutely love the dog boxes! The big one makes me think of the “Clifford the Big Red Dog” books. I’d use it in my kitchen as a cookie jar. The little one is just a precious trinket box that would look great on any table.
The dog bag holder was the cutest thing ever.
I’m so glad you passed the puppy! I can’t wait to see you make that little guy!
Such a great series! I like how you got a lot of passes on this one. Especially since you had so many smashes last time! Love the little dish! I would love a set. Each featuring a different Australian bloom
This episode was my favourite one so far. :D Now I wanna see the finished pieces!
I think the little dish would be so cute as a fridge magnet with your resin and dried flowers in it like you did in one of your past mystery molds.
Those little dishes 😍, all i could think about was them being the cutest Drawer handles/knobs in my kitchen! All painted up Shelby style 😄
And i always think those types of Angels/Cupids are super creepy, glad you smashed 😂
Absolutely the right decisions. All the “pass” items were adorable. I’m afraid the kissing cupids I find creepy, quite thrilled to see them squished!
Omg the dog bag one I'd use for doggo treats or trinkets for sure it looked so cuuuteee!
OMG I love you; your excitement is infectious. I am having so much fun!!!
My mother had a little ceramics studio in the 70s, & I remember the kissing child angels in nightgowns!
I'm old 😄
Speaking of big things - in WA up in the Pilbara we have a giant wheelbarrow. 😂
I loved the dog pieces and the little bowl - there’s so many possibilities for that one . ❤
You just brighten our day - we too can’t wait to see what you un mould
Good choices for all these. I love your ideas for the tiny bowl/dish. You could also make them tea spoon rests or tea bag bowls, or sauce/mustard dishes for when you have sushi etc and need a little sauce on the side. Can't wait to see some of these recent molds brought to life!
The puppy jar is adorable and definately worth exploring more. . . Maybe even keeping around longer for if/when you get a larger kiln
The dog piece looks like a puppy treat jar to me.agree with all the pass and smash!!!
I can see a whole set of the tiny bowls done with a native floral in the center of each one, like a "collect all 10" set type. It would look so cute in your style!

The little plate comes with a water picture...picture/bowl set. I did one like that in 70's.
In US, we call those "roadside attractions".
I love tiny ceramic dishes like that! I love the big dog cookie jar!!
I love this mini series. I think u made the right choices. With the little dish I had an idea to possibly make a little pedestal base for it. Then it could become a fountain for a fairy garden. DOGGIES!! I thought of Dog on a Tucker box too!! I love that dog :) it's just such a nice story and I like there's a cafe there and everything :P
(And I'm in full agreement with you about the angels....;)
Maybe the big dog is a really good excuse to get another kiln? ::grin:: He is just seriously cute.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with all of them!
Thank you so much for posting, always brightens the day!!!
I loved the big dog!! A beagle color theme would be adorable.
I've really been enjoying your videos, and this one was very fun. Great work! The dog on the pillow could also be a pet urn.
I love all the ones you kept!
Just you traditional colours!! Like with some of those pretty flowers 💐
I thought it was a cookie jar 🫙!!!! Great for pupper cookies 🍪!!!!
Interesting pieces. The dogs are adorable.
The first mold looks like a beagle doggy 🐶, it’s cute. I think you made good decisions on what to keep.
Cute little spice dish!! Need many of them!!
