When I was younger and my mental health was much worse than it is now, I used to imagine Tyler singing me to sleep and that was how I slept on bad nights. Telling most people that now, they would laugh about how angsty I was then but it is what got me through some terrible nights. I can't believe this in my feed so many years later, this is staggeringly beautiful uriellylame. thanks
TØP saved my life. I have a radio in my room, and some nights the voices are screaming at me so loud that I can imagine myself..... well, taking my life or pressing a razor against my arm. But then, suddenly I'd hear drums, and Tyler's voice and suddenly there's a light in my darkness. So, now I've found that my purpose is to educate those on mental health and to make someone, even just one person feel that they're worth the fight.
you know, before i even clicked on the video, i wanted to sob. i'm not depressed, don't have anxiety, it's just,, they've done a lot for me. gotten me through nervous things, gotten me in better moods, helped me focus, meet people like me, have something to enjoy instead of sitting in bed and not having anything to do. the boys have done a lot for us. i'm sure tyler really really enjoys us being at every concert, getting merch, loving them, if you're there, laying in your bed, reading this. you're wanted somewhere in this earth. whether it's by family, friends, lover, or even tyler joseph and josh dun themselves. love yourself, guys. stay alive.
I'm not depressed but I don't know why, sometimes I just can't do anything even crying is kinda hard... I don't know why but when i happens I can't sleep but even when I want to do something I can't and don't manage to do it. It's weird and it hurts a lot but it doesn't last long, it's just weird because I have a great life, I don't have a lot of things to worry about, I have friends that make me laugh every day... It just happens

This version of Hometown gives me a specific vision/feeling and if you’d like to know what it is then keep reading. When I close my eyes and listen to this it gives me a warm and tranquil feeling. I’m in a bedroom, sitting next to the open window. It’s raining outside but it’s mid-day so the sun shining through the clouds lights up the room with a cool blue light. The wind is blowing the curtains on the window. It smells like oak and rain and it’s warm so the breeze feels good. I feel safe and the most at peace I’ve ever been. Like I could fall asleep and stay that way forever in a moment like that

I grew up with twenty one pilots, and see Tyler as a father figure. I have been experiencing a very angsty depressive episode, and this is like having a father sing me to sleep, and has helped me a bunch.
I have synesthesia so I correlate colors with everything around me and may I just say... the colors swirling around my mind right now are extraordinarily beautiful
I love these videos so much. I struggle with insomnia and anxiety. I try to tire myself out, but then I start overthinking and boom! I'm awake again. I tried everything I could (meditation, reading, drinking tea, sleep aids, etc.) but nothing worked. I first found one of these videos and I realized I just needed another voice/presence in the room. Yeah, nobody's physically there, but the soft voice is enough for me to drift to sleep and not start overthinking. It's a kinda weird thing to explain, but it's comforting in a way. I play these videos at a low volume and it's enough to let me sleep without my anxiety getting all weird in the silence.
I've been here for 30 seconds and I'm already crying. TØP have the strange ability of making me feel like my heart was trying to strangle me and it's georgeous :'^

When i was in highschool and had trouble falling asleep due to panick attacks or anxiety i used to come to this video because Tyler's voice soothed me, and by the moment hometown was over i was already asleep ❤️🩹 Tyler saved my life so many times, and now many years later i can still come to this video for comfort and know that all my distress will go away the second hometown begins :3

I was having a rough night a couple weeks ago and my friend came over and started playing this while I was falling asleep and I had one of the best dreams. I walked into a room with a grand piano, ukulele and Tyler. He played me songs while I sat on the floor and listened and it was honestly the most I’ve ever felt at peace with myself in a very long time. ||-//
This is incredibly relaxing wow. I saw them nine days ago in concert and it was the most amazing experience of my life. They helped me through the worst time of my life. Just went to my first twenty one pilots concert last night (my first concert ever actually) and it was nothing short of amazing and exhilarating top 3 experiences of my life
when I was younger and struggling with some really rough things ( depression+ eating disorder) I would often listen to videos of Tyler singing gently to help me fall asleep, this reminds me of that time and looking back I'm so grateful for them keeping me alive, happy to say after many years I'll be seeing them live for the first time this friday :)

I’m no way related to Tyler and I came into the clique right before bf but I still have a sense of pride toward him. He wasn’t known to sing, and for him to join a band and have the courage to go up on stage, it’s just so amazing. And for him to get to this point just makes me think that everything is possible if I put courage and pride and love into it. I feel like I can sing decent. I would love to start a makeshift band with my best friend, but I have very bad anxiety and stage fright. I feel like I tend to be very hard on myself without thinking about it. My best friend is great. He can play drums, solo electric guitar, and is good at putting together fragments into songs. I can somewhat sing, ukulele, drums, piano, and I’m currently learning bass guitar. We plan to make a career together when we are much older. We’ve had struggles bc we are different genders but we don’t really care about that anymore. The biggest fear we have currently is really me. My stage fright stops us from preforming in front of our parents and friends. I quit the talent show at our school bc I was too scared. I feel really bad about it because he has no problem with preforming in front of people. I’m just so proud of this band bc they used to be like us with more or less problems but still. They’ve made it big. And made a somewhat great community ||-//.

When i was in highschool and had trouble falling asleep due to panick attacks or anxiety i used to come to this video because Tyler's voice soothed me, and by the moment hometown was over i was already asleep ❤️🩹 Tyler saved my life so many times, and now many years later i can still come to this video for comfort and know that all my distress will go away the second hometown begins :3

Ive had trouble sleeping for awhile cause life (yay), but have been listening once in awhile and I haven't experienced anything as peaceful like falling asleep to his voice. I just cant explain it. 7 years and the music still helps.

This song has stuck with me through thick and thin, ever since fifth grade it was my favorite song. Three years later I’m still singing the lyrics and hanging along with the ride.
I love looking through the comments and seeing the clique looking out for each other. Saying to please stay alive and get some rest. Or just listening to people give their story and encouraging them to keep going. It helps me so much seeing all these people being strong for each other. I was having a rough night a couple weeks ago and my friend came over and started playing this while I was falling asleep and I had one of the best dreams. I walked into a room with a grand piano, ukulele and Tyler. He played me songs while I sat on the floor and listened and it was honestly the most I’ve ever felt at peace with myself in a very long time.

This is incredibly relaxing wow. I saw them nine days ago in concert and it was the most amazing experience of my life. They helped me through the worst time of my life. Just went to my first twenty one pilots concert last night (my first concert ever actually) and it was nothing short of amazing and exhilarating top 3 experiences of my life
when I was younger and struggling with some really rough things ( depression+ eating disorder) I would often listen to videos of Tyler singing gently to help me fall asleep, this reminds me of that time and looking back I'm so grateful for them keeping me alive, happy to say after many years I'll be seeing them live for the first time this friday :)

I’m no way related to Tyler and I came into the clique right before bf but I still have a sense of pride toward him. He wasn’t known to sing, and for him to join a band and have the courage to go up on stage, it’s just so amazing. And for him to get to this point just makes me think that everything is possible if I put courage and pride and love into it. I feel like I can sing decent. I would love to start a makeshift band with my best friend, but I have very bad anxiety and stage fright. I feel like I tend to be very hard on myself without thinking about it. My best friend is great. He can play drums, solo electric guitar, and is good at putting together fragments into songs. I can somewhat sing, ukulele, drums, piano, and I’m currently learning bass guitar. We plan to make a career together when we are much older. We’ve had struggles bc we are different genders but we don’t really care about that anymore. The biggest fear we have currently is really me. My stage fright stops us from preforming in front of our parents and friends. I quit the talent show at our school bc I was too scared. I feel really bad about it because he has no problem with preforming in front of people. I’m just so proud of this band bc they used to be like us with more or less problems but still. They’ve made it big. And made a somewhat great community ||-//.
